Nova watched as the black cat sat down on her counter. She had been enjoying some horror movies when she heard a meow and turned around to see the cat on her counter.
Nova didn't own a cat.
Sometime during the night, the cat had sneaked in and was making home in Nova's house. "Not the counters kitty." Nova said as she picked up the black cat and set it on the ground. As much as she'd love to kick it out Nova felt bad.
She knew how dangerous it was for black cats on Halloween. So reluctantly she let the cat stay inside. But now it had gotten on her counter and Nova didn't want the cat up there.
"Come on kitty." Nova went back over to the couch. She turned the movie back on and set the female cat down on the couch. The cat looked at her before laying down next to Nova. Nova smiled as she brought the blanket over her.
Nova set her head down on the pillow as she drifted off to sleep.

When Nova woke up, she didn't feel fur on her legs but skin. Nova looked over and froze upon seeing the naked girl curled up on her couch. Her eyes opened revealing bright green eyes as she smiled at her and stood up.
Nova blinked. "Thank you for letting me stay with you, I appreciate it." The woman stood up as Nova blinked.
She looked back at the couch where the cat had been but now the woman.
"Why does stuff like this happen only at Halloween?" Nova questioned as she watched the woman go into the kitchen.
