Diamond was thankful for buying herself a rain outfit. If she didn't have it, she could only imagine how dreaded this bike ride to the house would be.
Diamond already dreaded taking her bike out in the rain knowing how dangerous it is. She hated having to deliver in the rain, but she needed the money. Diamond took the fast route pedaling as fast as she could before the house appeared in front of her.
Diamond was quick to take cover under the patio as she parked her bike before going up to the house with the pizza in her hands. "Okay after this we go home, take a nice hot bath with some bubbles and maybe a bath bomb and salts before taking a well needed nap." Diamond told herself as she went to the door.
She rang the doorbell before waiting for the door to open. Diamond smiled as the door opened and a young woman and man appeared in front of her.
The two were dressed in old clothing no doubt for some Halloween party. "Two large pizzas, one Supreme and the other pepperoni." Diamond said as she handed the pizza over to the guy who stepped out motioning the woman to step back.
He took the pizzas before handing them to the woman as Diamond glanced past her freezing up. Her eyes landed on another guy with blonde hair sat on the floor bound in silk ties. He looked up and panic set his face as he began struggling while looking at Diamond.
"Here you go." Diamond looked back at the guy as he handed her money before smiling. "Have a nice da-" He paused before following Diamond's gaze to where the blonde sat struggling against his ropes.
The woman looked at the man who looked back at Diamond as he sighed.
"They did always say a pizza delivery person's job is much more dangerous than a police officer." He noted as Diamond slowly began backing up.
Panic was spreading through her when she realized that he saw her see the bound blonde man on the floor.
Just as Diamond turned around to run the man jumped out of his house and grabbed Diamond who began screaming and kicking him as hard as she can.
"Desiree help me!" He yelled at the woman and Diamond kicked her just as she came over. Diamond then bit down on his hand making him let her go as Diamond took off to her bike. She grabbed it swung herself on it and pedaled as fast as she could away from the house.
"Goddamn it!" Diamond heard the man yell as she pedaled as far away and dug her phone out from her bag and dialed 911 to send them there.
"Get the coven we need to get her."
Diamond pedaled away as fast as she could leaving the house behind her as the line picked up.
"Yes, I need help, someone has been kidnapped, I can send the address."
498. This was fun to write. I was originally going to do the romance, but I'm gonna save that one as I have a lot in mind since the word count is 2500 for that one. ***
