Interviewing authors became Alya's least favorite thing to do. She was never fond at having to ask them questions and preferred interviewing other people.
But she couldn't tell her boss no to interviewing the new murder-mystery author unless she wanted to lose her job. Although she soon would wish she lost her job instead. The interview went on like every other one.
Some authors Alya didn't mind, but some were so stuck-up once the fame got to them. This author left Alya feeling uncomfortable with the descriptions of murder in their book.
"You seem to be very skilled at writing these scenes, is there a reason behind it?" Alya asked as she tapped her pen on the notebook and looked up at him. Jules, the male author smiled at her.
"I've had some similar experiences to the one I've written. It's easy to recall what happened, do you want to hear about my new book in mind?" Jules asked as Alya stiffened at his mention of new experiences but nodded.
"Sure." Alya murmured.
"I'm calling it 'The Interviewer Who Knew Too Much', I have a nice plot for it as well. I think you'll like it Alya." Jules murmured as Alya looked at the door before realizing his security guards were gone as terror struck her.
Alya looked back at Jules as he smiled now having a simple knife in his hand.
"I'm sure you have time to hear about it as well. . . even if you don't, we can make time."
245. That was fun to write. ***
