All Spring had envisioned since last Halloween were green eyes. Gorgeous green eyes.

They were the same hues of the forest, surrounded with dark moss. The beautiful earthly green that pushes through the soil to revive the grass after a cruel, unforgiving winter. Yet they hid the chaotic nature behind it. They were so beautiful, yet reckless and untamed.

Those same eyes remained with Spring throughout the year, but they were persistent since the party. Spring recalled the woman dressed as a witch telling her how she would meet her soul mate, at this same party.

Each year Spring's older brother would host a huge Halloween party that she attended. Spring did enjoy his parties.

Yet as she stood there with a red velvet cookie in her hand decorated with white chocolate chunks her mind wandered to the dream she kept having. Very few details were left over from them, but the eyes were always prominent.

Spring took another bite from her cookie before letting out a small laugh. "Nothing big will happen today, it'll be just like any other party." Spring murmured to herself as she finished her cookie before she felt a tap on her shoulder.

Spring turned around and froze as she stared at the identical eyes from her dreams. She had no idea what to say.

The guy in front of her looked identical to the one from her dreams.

He smiled at her. "Are you by chance Spring?" He asked and Spring nodded as she stared at him in wonder.

He was attractive, that was for sure. He had high cheekbones and light brown skin with bright green eyes surrounded in the dark mossy ring.

"Uh yes, I'm Spring." Spring answered giving him a nervous smile. He was extremely attractive in her eyes and she wasn't sure how to respond. He looked so like the person in all her dreams. He smiled at her.

"I'm Solar, Odessa said I could find you here. I've been looking all over." Solar smiled at her.

"Odessa?" Spring asked confused.

Solar smiled. "Friend of mine, she said you would be here at the party. I didn't want to miss the chance." Solar smiled at her.

"Um." Spring watched him confused yet intrigued. Something about him was calling to her, and while she was a bit frightened, she was intrigued in a way she couldn't deny. Solar ran a hand through his hair before turning back to her.

Spring watched as his eyes glowed before she felt herself loosen up a little. "I'm friends with your brother, Odessa is a friend of mine and she told me I could find you here. She gave me a fortune, typical thing of her to do, but um now I'm here." Solar smiled at her.

"Your friends with my brother?" Spring asked curiously.

"Acquaintance-friends. We have some classes in college together and I've talked to him frequently." Solar explained and Spring nodded as she watched him pull back.

"Do you want to come outside with me?" Solar asked and Spring nodded as she followed him out onto the patio. The full moon shined brightly as the two of them stepped out and went over to the swing on the patio and sat down.

"Who is Odessa?" Spring asked curiously as Solar stared up at the full moon.

"I'm guessing she's a type of fortune teller, she told me I would meet someone special here named Spring. I wasn't expecting much but as you can see, I found said Spring." Solar smiled at her as she tilted her head.

"I got told something similar last year at a party, that I would be meeting the love of my life eventually, same Halloween party." Spring told Solar who looked at her and smiled.

"My people believe in soul mates. That we are all destined for a certain someone that our paths will eventually cross with. That we will know it when we lay eyes upon them." Solar looked at Spring and smiled once more.

This smile was much lighter and sweeter than the previous smiles. There was so much emotion in it that had Spring smiling back at him like some sort of love-struck idiot.

She could barely even control herself where he was concerned. The longer she sat with him the more desire she had to do bad things and break all the rules. Spring's brother Winter was always the one to do much more intense things.

Spring kept to herself, but everything in her wanted to break out of her typical routine just for one day. Spring smiled at Solar as he glanced over and gave her another smile as Spring looked down at her feet unsure of what to say.

"Pretty sure I finally know what they all felt like now." Spring looked up at Solar as he offered his hand to her.

"Do you want to find out exactly what this is?" Solar asked and Spring nodded unable to resist the temptation as she followed him into the woods unaware of the plans the universe had in mind for the werewolf and human in front of it.
