Serenity

We sit there like that for a few more minutes.
"There he is!" Neville says while pointing towards the entrance. I look up to see Cedric walking in with his group of rowdy guy friends. I slowly get up from my seat as I see him drop in his name. His friends cheer loudly and push him around playfully.
"Ced!! Ced wait!" I yell out.
"Oh nerd! You made it after all." He says while walking towards me.
"Hey guys I'll catch ya later" he yells at his friends who are now puckering their lips and jokingly making kissing noises as the walk away. Cedric shoos them away and rolls his eyes before looking back to me.
"Sorry about that." He says
"no problem pretty boy." I smirk.

Neville

"What's the deal Neville." Hermione says while raising an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?" I ask as I get up from my seat so I can sit next to her.
"What is the deal with you and Serenity I mean." She asks again.
"Oh." I say looking back towards her and Cedric talking and walking out of the room together.
"We are best friends, you know that."
"Yeah Neville, and I'm queen of England." She says "you are going to have to tell her at some point ya know.... you could always ask her to the ball." She says while looking back at her book
"the what?" Just then the Weasley twins storm in and everyone in the room is cheering loudly.

Serenity

Finally the day has come where they announce the champions. I make my way over to the Hufflepuff table and take a seat next to Cedric.
"Nervous?" I ask.
"A little, I have a lot to prove as a Hufflepuff entering a tournament like this. It would be nice to finally have people take our house seriously." He says while crossing his fingers and biting his bottom lip.

I scoot closer to him and rub his back to comfort him. Dumbledore announces the first two champions, the next name flies from the blue flames. I feel Cedric tense next to me.
"CEDRIC DIGGORY!"
Dumbledore yells. Everyone cheers and the Hufflepuff table screams in excitement. Cedric relaxes and grins uncontrollably. He looks at me and plants a kiss on my cheek. Before I can react to that I hear Dumbledore yell a familiar name.

"HARYY POTTER!?!?" He yells again.

As Dumbledore exits the great hall I use the opportunity of mass confusion to excuse myself.
"well I should get back to my school table now, bye" I say to Hannah, avoiding any contact with Cedric on purpose.
"Wait Serenity!" I hear Cedric say, but I'm already walking towards the Beauxbatons table. I sit next to Fluer's sister and tell her to wish her sister a congratulations on becoming a tri wizard tournament champion for me. I eat my food quickly, then make my way to the dorms.

I'm halfway there, the halls are empty, Cedric didn't see me leave. I believe to be home free, until I feel a tight grip on my wrist pulling me to the side.
"Well well well Leaf, I didn't think you would be into Diggory of all guys." Draco says.
"You saw that?" I ask.
"Are you kidding me? Every girl in the school is already planning 5 ways to kill you." He says "what happened to Loserbottom?"
"What do you mean kill me? People think we are together? My god word travels fast around here. First people think I'm dating you, now I'm dating Cedric. Everyone is going to think I'm easy." I say with a pout and crossing my arms.
"Wait who thought we were together? You wish leafy!" He replies.
"All my Gryffindor friends, the day I arrived, you hugged me and I guess that just means we are basically married." I say while rolling my eyes.
"Well Are you dating Cedric or not?"
"Not." I say
"good." Draco says with a smirk. He then turns and leaves without another word. Why does he act so mysterious all the time? I get the chills and shiver. He really creeps me out sometimes, it's like he has something up his sleeve.
