"Ellis how you feeling today?" I asked Ellis while we were keeping watch. Everyone was asleep in the safe room we just entered last night. It's still night though, it's about 4 or 5 am right now. "I'm feelin' alright how about you?" "I'm feeling good. But I'm worried about something."
"What are you worried about?" Ellis asked sitting up straight. "About when we get to New Orleans... And when we meet the military... They will think I'm a zombie and they will threaten to shoot me." I said looking down. "A lot of us care about you Delilah. We won't let that happen to you. Because if the do, I'm pretty sure Louis or Nick would take a bullet for you. I think they both have a thing for ya." Ellis said looking at me.
I wasn't much shorter then him, but he still seemed somewhat taller then me. Maybe it's because I'm usually hunched over for better accuracy and I see better when lower. "Wait did you say you think Nick has a thing for me? No, no, you got that wrong. I know that Louis has a thing for me." I said looking at Ellis.
"I'm just saying. Nick could only like you for sexual or reproductive reasons, but ya never know. I would honestly pick Louis if I were you." Ellis said. "We should probably get heading to that plantation house soon." "Agreed." Ellis said standing up. We started waking everyone up and we got ready for the trip through this town.
We had to deal with a Tank once again and it was again easy. (I'm using the expert/advanced tank's health meaning he has 8000 HP while his strength is with the normal. Three hits and you're down.) The of course there had to be a witch on the way to the safe room. "I- I'm not going near the crying girl. Everyone kill your lights." Ellis said. We did so and snuck passed her.
Once we got to the safe room I closed the door. I saw that it was turning morning. "Maybe we all should rest for a bit. Then when we get rescued from the plantation house rest for a bit longer so we can continue all of this running around." I said looking at everyone. They all seemed to agree with me.
"We can rotate who's keeping watch. Let's start with Francis and Zoey." I said sitting beside Louis. "Alright that's fine. You're alright with that right Zoey?" "Yeah, let's do it." Zoey replied to Francis. I laid my head on Louis's shoulder and fell asleep peacefully.
