Chapter XXXII (Bonus Chapter)

"I think we should call that crying girl a witch." Zoey said. "Agreed." Francis nodded. "Hm, what about that thing that grabbed Bill? It was covered in a green smoke and when I killed it, it exploded into smoke." Francis said. "Let's call it a smoker." Louis said. "I think that's a perfect name for it." I said.

After that little talk that we had in the safe room Zoey put her hand on the door handle. "Ready to continue this adventure?" She asked. "As ready as we can be." Louis, Francis and I said in unison. She opened the door. "Oh no the subway's full of zombies." I said sighing. I was kinda expecting this.

"Let's go down this hole." I said. They nodded and followed me down the hole. Once we all got down we headed to the subway. "Redline North should take us to Mercy hospital." Louis said. I nodded. Francis saw a shotgun and picked it up. "Groovy." He said. "Groovy." Zoey said in a mocking tone.

I chuckled lightly. We walked up the stairs to the subway tracks and we saw that the subway was all torn up. "Well, I can't say I wasn't expecting this." I said softly. Zoey nodded and we all continued walking. Then we stopped because we saw this infected. It had an inlarged stomach and it consistently burpped and gurgled. Then the thing vomitted on me. Francis killed it when we were a safe distance from it.

It's top half exploded from what I could see, but we were surrounded by a horde. After we took care of the horde my vision cleared up. "God what was that thing?" "I don't know, but I think we should call it a boomer. Since it explodes when killed. It's also really fat." Francis said. "Agreed on both of those reasons." I said.

We walked some more and through a subway train. When we walked through the train I motioned for us to go left. "If we go up those stairs and up another set of stairs we'll be in the control room." I said. They nodded and followed me. Once we got to the control room I saw a closed door.

"We'll have to open that door if we wait to continue to Mercy hospital." Zoey said. "Agreed." I said. I walked up to the door and hit the button to open it. But it summoned a horde. We fought through the horde and I heard some laughter in the distance. Once the door opened enough we went up the stairs ant towards a room. There was a gun locker in there with an m16 and an ak-47.

I picked up the m16. "This is my kind of weapon." I said with a smile. Then the laughter that I heard was closer. "Guys, what is that?" Zoey said. "I don't know." Francis said. We moved out of the room through the hallway, checking any room for supplies. I then saw something jump into Louis's head. It was a small figure.

I shoved the thing off him then killed it with my crowbar. "Let's hurry and get to a safe room." I said. Everyone agreed and we headed out the building after going down some stairs. Once we got out of the building we turned right and I saw a pawnshop.

"There's a safe room in that pawn shop!" I said. "Yeah, there is!" Francis said. We hurried to the safe room and I closed the door. "I think we should call that thing that jumped onto Louis a jockey. Because it seems like it just jumps on you and starts moving you around." I said.

"Agreed." Louis said. I sighed softly as I felt more relaxed. We're safe as long as we keep moving. If we stay in one place it may be the end of us. These guys are starting to feel like family to me. "Thinking over there Bill?" Louis asked. I nodded.

We're safe... For now...
