I heard footsteps come near the closet that I was locked in. I banged on the door. "Help me!!!" I yelled. "Guys I think I hear someone calling for help." I heard a voice say. I think they were talking to a group. "It's probably just a witch." Another voice said in response. Then I saw the door open and out I fell.
The middle aged man aimed his gun at me and was about to pull the trigger when the young man stopped him. "What are you doing Ellis, it's a zombie!" The middle aged man somewhat yelled. "Look at the eyes." Ellis said. The middle aged man did so and saw that my eyes were shining with life.
I was so scared. "She looks like a zombie. I don't fully trust this." The middle aged man growled slightly and put his gun on his back. Ellis helped me up and gently patted my back. "Are you okay and how did you end up in there?" He asked me. "A Hunter locked me in here. Saying some kind of Morse code or something." I explained.
"Well here, take this." The young man said handing me his katana. I took the Katana and looked at it gently. "Don't give her a weapon! She may use it against us!" The middle aged man said. "Nick stop being mean!" The woman of the group said.
We started moving away from the area and I looked at them all. "So I am guessing you're Ellis?" I said to the redneck looking dude. "Yep. But you can call me El if you want. I prefer Ellis though because El sounds like a girls name." He said. I nodded.
"That rude guy is named Nick." The girl said. "And who are you two?" I asked looking at the girl and the older man. "I'm Rochelle and this is Coach. That's what we call him." Rochelle said. "Nice to meet you guys." I said with a soft smile.
Then a smoker grabbed me. I was getting pulled and Ellis saved me once again. "We should probably get you a gun so you can protect yourself against the long range infected." He said. I nodded and continued walking with them. I saw an AK laying on the ground and picked it up.
"If I remember correctly, this is how you shoot this gun." I said shooting an infected. "Nice job." Ellis said.
