Delilah's Adventures

Chapter XVII

I look at the walls of the safe room. "Hmm, we will still need to leave stuff behind in here. Since we'll be coming back into this room." I said looking around. "I agree with Delilah." Ellis said softly. I walked down the stairs, followed by everyone else and opened the door.

As we walked out of the building we shot down some of the infected that was there. I noticed a construction worker type of infected. "Those ones must not go after the pipe bombs or the bile bombs." Nick mumbles softly. I have an improved sense of hearing compared to everyone else. I don't know how I have this ability.

"There's a witch not to far from us. We should head through the sugar mill since the road is closed." I said to everyone. "How could you hear her from here?" "She has improved hearing. I could tell since she's warned us about a Tank coming when we were on the bridge before." Louis said gently kissing my head.

I blushed a bit and I looked at him. "Now's not the time to be lovey dovey Louis lu." I said in a sweet and loving way. Louis smiled at me and then we continue our way to the mill. As we walked through the mill we had to sneak pass a lot of witches. Then we saw a Tank and a Charger. The Charger ran into Ellis and grabbed him.

(In Louis's case the first aid kit that is being used on Ellis would not help in the game since Louis's injury is pretty much shown as a bad cut on his leg. In the game med kits can bring a survivor to 80-99 HP depending on how healthy the survivor is. This is bringing in some game logic with how the med kits work in game as well as the characters having unlimited amount of ammo scattered throughout the campaigns and their durability.)

The Charger was pummeling him and we had to gun down both the Tank and The Charger. "He is breaking my butt!" Ellis yelled right when we killed the Charger and we all killed the Tank after we helped Ellis up. "Let me heal you Ellis." Nick said using his first aid kit on Ellis. Ellis stood still as Nick patched him up and we continued our way through the mill.

Once we reached an elevator we had to summon a horde when we called it and then run through the cane field once we got down to the ground. The horde wasn't to hard to fight off considering how many of us there were. "We have to just head for that sign when we run through the field!" I said before we got to the ground. "I certainly agree. But we should be careful of any witches. Maybe we should all stay together." Zoey suggests which I totally agree with.

"I agree since I have an improved sense of hearing I can tell where they are so we can avoid them." I said as we walked through the field. We avoided the witches there were there and got to the safe room in the gas station. "So we need four cans. Ellis, how about you, me, Rochelle and Coach carry them?" Nick suggests before I close the door. "That is a smart idea Nick." Ellis said. "All right! This party is over!" Rochelle yelled after I closed the door.
