"Even this sewer is crawling with zombies." I said as I looked out the safe room door. "I mean, its the zombie apocalypse." Zoey said. "Yes I know, now let's go." I said opening the door. We walked through the water and down the middle pipe. "Through here!" I said. We walked down the pipe and turned right. We then heard some crying as we walked through some more water and up a ramp. we quietly snuck around the witch when we saw her and into another pipe.
We went through that pipe and into a room with a metal wall. There was a bridge on the other side. "We gotta activate that bridge." Francis said when we saw the bridge on the other side. I saw a wire that came from the bridge. My eyes followed the wire and saw where the lever was. "I'll go start it with that lever. Be ready to fight the horde that's going to follow." I said. "Alright Bill." Louis said.
I walked over to the lever and switched it on. We fought off the horde as the bridge lowered. Once it completely lowered we ran across it. A Spitter spat some of her acid in front of us. On the stairs we were about to go up. Once the acid cleared up we went up the stairs and into another pipe. We turned right and went down the pipe. Then we turned left and went out of the pipe. We walked in the direction we were facing then turned right.
We also saw a Tank there too. We quickly moved and started gunning it down. Francis threw his Molotov onto it. It was burning and getting shot at, yeah it's not living after that. Once it was dead we went back to that room and climbed the ladder. We turned left and out a window. We turned left again and kept going that way until we reached a parking area. "The safe room is in that train cab!" Louis said as we walked towards the building in front of us.
"Into the caboose then!" Zoey said. We went into the safe room and I closed the door. "Well that was something. I hope that when we get to Riverside there will be someone-" "Don't. I can already tell that it's a bust." I said stopping Louis. "Why do you safe that?" Louis asked. "Look at the walls. People are saying that Riverside is over run." I said. "I still have hope." Louis said with a smile.
We're safe... For now.
