Delilah's Adventures

Chapter XXIII

(The cemetery part has four different paths that can be taken because the ai director changes them.)

We heard the jets fly over us again and again. "What are they doing?" I said to myself. Everyone was getting ready, while I on the other hand was already ready to go. Ellis looked a bit more worried for everyone. Especially for Zoey. "Zoey are you sure you still want to head with us to the military base?" Ellis asked her.

"Yes I am. I'm not leaving the family that I have now." Zoey said looking at him. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek making him flustered as all hell. I giggled a bit and Ellis pouted at me. "Come on ladies, let's go!" Francis said opening the door.

We followed him out of the door and towards where we saw some stairs. We climbed up the stairs and checked the room. After we checked the room we walked over a bus and down the road but obviously going around the fence. We ran through a house and jumped onto a trailer. Right after we walked to the house across the street there was a tank there. Nick had a molotov. "Incoming!" Nick said throwing the molotov on the tank. We then started shooting the shit out of it.

Then we went through the house and there was a big hole in the wall. We went through the hole in the wall and went around the back of the house to another hole in the wall. We walked through that house and out another hole seeing a sewer drain open. "Oh god not the sewer." Nick said. A smoker grabbed him and I quickly saved him. We all jumped down into the sewer and walked through it.

"God it stinks inside my head." Nick said as we walked through the sewer. "Stop complaining, you sound like Francis when we were in Mercy Hospital." Zoey said right when we got to a ladder. We all climbed up the ladder. "Shit, they all got alarms. Careful everyone." Coach said.

We carefully walked through the impound lot and the climbed up another ladder. Once we climbed up the stairs Ellis looked at the bridge. "Hey looks like we're going to make it!" Bomb dropped on the bridge in front of us. "God dammit!" Nick yelled. We walked over to the hole in the bridge and jumped down.

"They are blowing this bridge to cover a retreat. If we wanna go with them we better hurry." Nick said as we headed through the cemetery. Once we got to the safe room we all got in and I closed the door. "We are a damn right good team!" Ellis said as I closed the door. Everyone smiled at the happiness that Ellis spread throughout the room.

We're safe... For now.
