Chapter XXXVI (BC)

"Goddammit! Where'd they buy this helicopter? At the uh...uh...um...hold on." Francis said. "The shitty pilot store?" Zoey replied. "Yeah. Stupid helicopter!" Francis said. I chuckled at this.

"Zoey I thank you for saving us from the pilot, but for Christ sake why didn't anyone land the thing?!" I asked. "Hey at least we're alive!" Louis said. "I hate walking." Francis said. "Don't we all." I said. "Let's just go." Zoey said.

I looked around from our crash site. "Over there. Let's go through those alleys." I said. "Totally not turning into a horror movie." Zoey said. "This whole thing is a horror movie kid." I said. We walked towards the alleyway and I looked down it. Yep, had a lot of zombies in it.

So I lead the way through the alleys. "That truck is blocking the alley. Let's cut through that building!" Louis said pointing to the building on our right. I nodded and when we were going through the wear house a smoker grabbed ahold of me. He raised me into the air. "Help me!" I yelled.

Louis shot the tongue of the smoker and I fell onto my knees. Zoey helped me up and we continued our walk through the wearhouse. We walked out a garage door and back into the alley. We walked down the alley some more and we turned left. We walked that way towards a light. "Let's go through here." I said.

We have to follow someone. And I'll take the leadership role since I'm the oldest and I have the most experience with guns. We walked through that building and out through a side door. The side door lead us to a small shed. We walked out the she'd and turned left. Then right, and we saw a train. "Whoa... Zoey must've shot the train conductor. Hehe..." Francis said. "The pilot was a zombie Francis!" Zoey said.

"Quit fighting. We dont need to turn our backs on each other. We're all that we have." I said. They nodded and we walked around the train wreck. We jumped down onto a lowered road and turned right. We kept walked that way then turned right again. We climbed up a small hill and saw a Howitzer.

"Let's fire that off to destroy the barricade." I said. We all got ready to fight the horde and I fired off the Howitzer. Once the fire disappeared after we fought off the horde we crossed the bridge. We went downholl for a moment. "There's a safe room inside that wearhouse." I said.

But a hunter grabbed Zoey so we had to go back and save her. A charger grabbed Louis. "I can't breathe! I can't breathe! I CAN'T BREATHE!" Louis said as we were killing the charger. Once we killed it we got into the saferoom. I closed the door and began to heal Louis. Francis healed Zoey. After they were healed I sat down and leaned my back against the wall.

We're safe... For now...
