"What the hell are they doing?!" Nick screamed when a bomb was dropped near us. "Something tells me they're not looking for survivors anymore." Rochelle said. "Oh is it the fact that they are dropping bombs on us?!" Zoey somewhat yelled. I just put my head down. I didn't want to hear all of this screaming.
"Guys I think we should stop yelling." Nick said looking at me. Everyone then looked over at me as well. "I just don't like hearing all the screaming. Yelling is fine, just not screaming." I said softly. I felt Nick's arm wrap around my shoulders for a moment. "It's okay. Not all of us can handle screaming." He said softly.
It made me smile a bit. We walked through the court yard and into a building. We climbed up the stairs and walked out the door to a balcony. From there we shot the infected that were on the road. A spitter spat on us so we had to move from there which wasn't to bad. A bomb dropped near us once again. Then we walked down the street to a bus and went into the building it was next to.
"So Coach, how did you end up meeting these three?" I asked making reference to Nick, Ellis and Rochelle. "We met on top of a burning building. It was a hotel in Savannah." Coach said. We walked upstairs of the building we were in then we jumped off a ledge and out the garage door of the place. Then there was a tank.
We fought off the tank and continued our walk. After we killed him we moved forward down the alleyway and saw some stairs leading into the building next to us. We climbed up the stairs and up to the top/third floor of the building. Once we got up there we walked through the hole that was in the wall and the door that lead out into the balcony. "We could use that tracker and the fight off the horde under that staircase." I said pointing over to the staircase. Ellis started up the tractor then ran back over to the rest of us. We fought off the horde until it was safe for us to continue.
We climbed up the stairs and ran over the bridge that was on the tractor. Then we walked down the stairs and out the door. We walked through another alleyway and into another building. Then we walked out of that building and walked down the road. We walked to a fence and walked into the building on our right. We walked up the stairs in the back of the building and went out the door that lead out to the side roof. We jumped off of the small roof and walked through the alleyway.
We saw the bridge. "There's the bridge!" Nick said. "And there's a safe room in the bridge!" Ellis said when we spotted the safe room. We ran to it and Ellis closed the door. "You guys are pretty good!" Nick yelled once the door was closed.
We're safe... For now.
