Chapter 10

I went back to my suite, fuming. I had like no idea what was going on. I sat on the couch there and sat there thinking about the night of the party. The last thing I could remember before I woke up, other than seeing my parents was punching Black Fox around 5 times, but then everything became a blur. I was broken out of my trance by a knock on the door. I opened it and saw Chief's PA again. "Hi, can I help you?" I asked. "Excuse me Miss Callisto, but Chief has asked you to pack your bag because you're going to move in with the other teen spies." he gave a nod which meant that that was the only thing he had to say. He was about to leave when, "Please, you can call me KC or Kiara. I'm still a kid, so it kinda feels a little weird when they call me like 'Miss' or something." he gave a small laugh, then came back to shake my hand. "Okay, Kiara. You can call me Derek. I need to go anyway. Sir told me he wants his schedule for this week. I'll see you around!" and he left. Looks like I better start packing. The mini screen in my room suddenly went off, and I saw the twins looking at me. "Hey KC. Meet us in the conference room at 12 o clock?" said Greg. I nodded. "Oh come on! Are you still mad at us?" Nate asked me. "What do you think?" I asked. "I'll see you there." I said, and continued packing. By 11:30, I was done packing, realized that I had nothing to do, so I rolled my suitcase and carried my bag to the conference room. I sat quietly for 5 minutes, but was then distracted by my phone ringing in my pocket. I smiled looking at the caller ID.

"Hey!" I said. "Ohmigosh! I THOUGHT YOU'LL NEVER PICK IT UP!!!!!" shouted the voice on the other side. "Good afternoon to you too Amaya!" I said, laughing at her first reaction. It had been ages since I had last spoken to her. "Are you free? Can I FaceTime you right now?" she asked. Why not? It's not like I have anything to do. "Sure. I'll connect through my laptop." she squealed and when i opened my laptop, immediately popped up was the notification that Amaya was calling me. Plugging my AirPods in, I accepted the call, and I saw the widely smiling face of Amaya almost bursting with trying not to scream. "It's been so long KC! Holy!" she said. We chatted for a while, but I didn't tell her that I had no memory about what had happened on the party day. After about 20 minutes, it was 12:10 when the door to the conference room opened, and I saw Greg walking in. "Hey, I'll talk to you next time. I need to go. Yeah, I love you too! See ya!" and I shut my laptop. Speaking to Amaya had really lifted my mood up, that I had forgotten that I was mad at the twins.

"So, are you not mad at us anymore?" he asked me. "I've decided to forgive you as long as you don't keep anything from me anymore." he laughed and then nodded. "So, you may have heard, we're going back to our apartment today! It's been ages since I went there!" said Nate, walking in. "Come on! Let's go!" said Greg, and came up to take my suitcase. "Wait right now?" I asked. "Yeah! Chief's already given us permission!" said Nate and pulled me up.

"So you guys just live alone together?" I asked when they put my bags at the back of the car. Nate got to the driver's seat. "Yeah! We're all very responsible 18 year old's!" he said. I sat at the back. He drove out, and Greg kept a map in front of him. "Let's hit it!"

After about an hour, Nate was slowing down, so I stopped playing my music to see what was going on. In the front, there a huge 2 floored apartment. "Welcome home! Come on! I'll add your ID later! Let's go in first!" said Greg and Nate went to park the car. I took my bag as Greg rolled my suitcase. He stopped at a door in front of a camera. After few seconds, there was a click and the door opened. "Kiara Callisto, welcome to your new home!" he said. He rolled my suitcase to where I was standing and then went to the middle of the stairs and shouted. "LEO!!" And a voice replied back. "YEAH?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'YEAH'? GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE YOU IDIOT!" and I could hear footsteps as I was looking at the devices on the wall. "Kiara. Turn around." and I turned around only to lose something I never thought I would.
