We decided to walk to the mall so that we could see the surrounding around us. "It's been a while since we went out together." I said. "Yeah..." said Leo, taking a deep breath. "Let's go to that small hill where we can see the sunset." said Greg. We agreed and he led the way to a different part of the city where I hadn't been. We climbed up the tiny hill, which I realized is where Leo n I had fought the wolves. "It looks different in the light." I said. "Yeah doesn't it?" whispered Leo back to me. "What happened?" asked Greg. "This is where we fought the wolves." I said. I looked at the surrounding sky. The sun was setting with a soft glow. I sat on the ground, hands around my knees. The boys sat down next to me. It reminded me of the time when every evening I used to watch the sunset with my dad as mom made dinner. I smiled at the precious memory that was carved in my brain, when my ears picked up a scream from the street below. "What-?" I went to see what was going on. Then I saw something strange. Right in the middle of the street, something heavy was swirling in a whirlwind. "What's that?" I asked. "I don't know, but we need to find out."
Then our watched started beeping at the same time. We looked at each other and as though magnetically, our watches pulled our hands up and a hologram popped out. The hologram of Chief. "Chief!" said Nate. "Agents, are you outside the house?" he asked us. "Never mind that now. I need you to get to Hill Street (I'm sorry, idk what ANY street in NYC is called...) this instant!" he said.
"Sir, we're already there." I said. "Very well, good. There has been a report of something supernatural in the middle of the street. No normal person is able to reach it. Only you can help." he said. Realization dawned on us. "We're on it." said Leo, and with a nod, Chief went off. "Masks. Now." he said. All of us put on our masks. "Let's go!" I said, and we went down to the street for a better look. Civilians were running here and there in fright; some frozen in shock. We moved closer to the crowd. The whirlwind was growing stronger. And suddenly, it stopped. The sky became dark with clouds covering it. "What-?" I heard Nate. "Well, well, well..." a shiver ran up my spine, as I heard the voice of Black Fox. "Looks like you and your friend escaped my dear wolf pets..."
"It was you, wasn't it?" I asked, looking over my shoulder. "Now, I knew this would lure you here, but you coming here was a mistake you'll regret..." he continued. "A mistake?" I repeated. "Get ready to die!" he shouted and the familiar wolves jumped out at us, from the shadows, only looking more dangerous than ever. "SPLIT!" I shouted as the four of us went in difference directions: I jumped to the sky, Leo ran quickly over to a high wall, Greg used the help of air to levitate himself, and Nate caught onto a tree. "Oh this is NOT good." I said. I clicked my watch to connect the others. "We need to get the people outta here!" I said. "Yeah. But where can we take them?" asked Leo. I look up to the tall office building ahead of me, where in its windows, I could see some people curiously sticking their head out to see the commotion. "Into the buildings. Come on! Let's go!" I said, and we spread out. I found two 13 year olds who were hiding behind a post box. I flew to them and extended my hand to them. "Take my hand." I told them. Nervously, and uncertainly, they caught hold of my hand. "Don't let go." i said softly. They nodded and I slowly lifted them up so that I could get them to the building. I set them down on a balcony on the third floor. "Thank you." they said. I smiled at them and went to the center of the street. I looked around for Black Fox but he was nowhere to be seen. "Black Fox's gone. Any sign of him guys?" I asked into my mic. "No idea." they said. And then something very cold slammed me to the ground, trapping me between the ground and what I realized was a HUGE piece of metal...
