This is not the usual type of songs I put before my chapter starts, but this is one of my favourite piano compositions. I mean, listen to it *cries*

"You- you're-" I stuttered, panicking. How was this possible? "You can't-"  began when he threw me off my bike straight onto a tree with one hand. "You should've known by now. After Derek's warning in your brain. Hm?" he asked, coming closer. I saw the familiar mask covering his face.

"That was you!" I said, pulling myself to my feet. Hearing a car engine nearing, I knew it was the boys. I couldn't let them get hurt. Trying not to make it too obvious, I slowly moved back to the road. "But h-how?" I asked, still curious. "How did you disguise yourself? And who are you really?" I asked, stopped right in the middle of the path. "Oh that? That I did, using...this." he said and casually took something out of his back pocket. I froze at what I saw.

It was my father's holographic undercover shielding device. It could help you to transform into anybody while being under a hologram. It was the most valuable, at the same time, the most dangerous possession dad ever had. Putting my hands behind me, I spoke again. "How did you get it?"

"How did I get it? I dont know!" he laughed. "It was safely locked in the museum." he mocked. "The museum...." I whispered. I remembered the time he broke into the museum for the Source Keepers' map key.

"And you surely wouldn't have forgotten me, oh, Miss Kiara?" he said as he slowly took off his mask. I froze again. It was the Mr. David. "You? You killed my parents?" I asked, as I felt anger of more than 10 years boil inside me. "Why did you do it?" I asked as time ticked by. "Dear girl, I was born for this!" putting his mask back on, raising his hands in the air. "Destroying the Source Keepers was all I was born to do. That day, when you told your parents about that tiny fire, I knew you were one of them. One day or another, you all would've met anyway. So if one of you were missing, the others would be nothing without you." and with that, he laughed again. I could feel his energy growing with every second. Behind me was a sound of a car engine speeding ahead. "NO!" I shouted as I turned back and blocked it with the strongest force field I could manage to create. I let it surround only me and Black Fox and form a dome like structure.

"Tch tch." Black Fox clicked his tongue. "Look at you. So weak. You're trying to protect your friends. Tch." he clicked his tongue again. "This is between me and you. Leave them out of this." I heard a noise as if someone was banging on glass. I looked around to see Leo. Speeding there, I put my hand on the now holographic barrier, I mouthed, "I'm sorry."

I gave him a sad smile as I watched his expression change from sad to a worried one. "KC NO!" I heard Nate. I stopped walking. I turned around to see them once again. All what we had been through; the fun; the struggles; everything. I looked down. As I heard Greg call my name, I looked up and saw a faint light glowing inside them. My mind wandered back to the day the involuntary fire flew into their food. Tears filled my eyes. Opening my palm that I was clenching, a small ball of sparklefire floated into the air.

Then all I felt was an extremely harsh hit at the back of my head as I went flying forward, breaking my force shield. I landed hard on the ground. I felt blood at the side of my head, but I got up again. I slowly turned around to see the boys held tightly against a building. People had crowded at their windows to watch. Looking down at the road, I saw I had almost broken through it because of the blast Black Fox had sent me flying with.

I saw him levitating a few metres above the ground. "Let's match our powers properly now, shall we?" and without giving me a chance to react, he sent flying pieces of metal straight at me; I managed to dodge one, but the other hit me hard, causing me to stumble, but I held my ground. "You, Sparkles, are the source of heat. Me on the other hand, am the source of cold and darkness. Let's see who'll overpower whom!" he shouted loudly. Taking a deep breath, all my determination came before me.

"Yeah. Let's see."  I said before charging ahead with all my energy. I felt the wounds on my feet heal as I rose into the air. Bringing both of my hands into the air, I sent a large fireball at him, hitting him square in the jaw. I felt a pink aura surround me as I floated. A similar black aura surrounded him. He made a gesture to shoot back at me again, but then turned to the building to where the boys were trapped, which also happened to be the building with contained the most number of people.

He gave a grin. "Let's see what you can do now, shall we?" and sculpted a large weapon out of nowhere, looked back at me and then shot it straight at that very building. "NO!!!" I shot straight at it, managing to overtake it. I threw myself right in front of it, taking the full impact of what it was really made for. A small blast followed it, letting go of the boys.

I felt all my wounds open up as blood fell out from each of them. "NO! KC!" I heard someone shout as I fell to the ground. I felt the light inside me dying. Something was floating in front of me, but I couldn't really make out. "And to think, all I need to destroy all of you was to kill the one that made you the strongest. You are nothing without her. Admit it." said the thing in front of me. Not knowing what I was doing, I lifted my right hand straight at the person and something shot out of my hand; something that took out all my energy. The thing turned back and shrieked a blood curdling scream as it dissolved into air.

I hit my head to the ground. "No no no no..." I heard a voice from above me. I slowly opened my eyes which were taking me to sleep, and smiled slightly as I looked up at the familiar figure. "Hi." I said and raised my hand to touch his cheek. I felt two tears fall out of my eyes, sliding down the side of my forehead. "I can't let you go. Not ever, and definitely not yet." I smiled as more tears filled my eyes. "You have to, okay? And you will." I said sadly. Two more people kneeled down next to me. I felt more blood gushing out my side and I winced. I looked up at the twins' faces, now slightly covered with their blood too. "Thanks for what all of you've done for me." I said between breathlessness.

I felt my body growing limp as the light inside me started dying. The darkness slowly took over me. And the last thing I ever felt, was two hands on my cheeks and then....I crumbled to nothing.

Well, you may be wondering how I'm telling you all this if i died...we'll get there soon.
