"It was so much fun getting to know all of you!" said Amaya as we were dropping her off at the airport. She was going back home three days before us because her classes start early. "I'm going to miss you guys!!" she said and pulled us all into a hug. "WOAH there! Lower the grip!" I cried as she pulled me. "Well, travel safe. Text me when you get there." I heard Greg as me, Leo and Nate turned and were walking back out. "Well, they're cute." said Nate as he took a look over his shoulder. "Yup." I said. "Hey, what's that?" Leo said, and pointed at my neck. "What's what?" I asked. "There's...something there. May I?" he asked, and gestured to my neck. "Y-yeah." I said and swallowed as I felt his fingertips brushed my skin. "What the-" he said, and I immediately felt a sting. "OW!" I said and unconsciously hit Leo's hand. "Sorry. It was a reflex." I mumbled. "It's fine. Let's go back home and then go on. Too many people here." he said and looked around. "I just texted mom that Amaya left. Come on! Let's go." said Greg.

"What do you think it is?" asked Greg looking at his arm. It was now happening the all four of us. It was like a tattoo we never asked for. For me, according to the boys, it was a fire shaped one, burned onto my neck; for Leo, the symbol of water; Greg, the mark of air and for Nate, the one of earth. In the end, we concluded that they were the representation of our elements. "They're still weird though. We need to find out more about them." said Leo as we went back inside. "What are you kids doing for your last three days here?" asked Reina that night as we sat for dinner. "I was thinking we could go swimming actually. We had planned to go during on Christmas, but we other things came up." said Leo looking at me. I was confused in the beginning but then understood that he was referring to my birthday. "Uh yeah." I said. "Cool! You two can go. Greg n I already have some plans." said Nate and winked.

... - that was how my expression was when he winked.

Next morning, Leo and I walked down. It was slightly awkward between us, considering what had happened on my birthday, but still it was comfortable in a way. "So, uh, you can control water, right?" I asked nervously, not knowing what to say. Leo turned to me and raised his eyebrows. "No-! I meant that in water, can you like make the water move you faster when you swim? Cuz like you can't actually use your speed right? It can electrocute you, right?" I asked. "I'm not sure actually. You know what?" he asked with the familiar gleam in his eyes. "Oh no, i don't like that look." I said and slowly walked backwards. "Come on! I'm going to try it out!" he said and pulled me.

"NO-" I was too late. He had already pulled me into the pool.
