Akiya Yuria, That was her name. She was special, the love of my life.
I met her when I got back from the war. I was alone. I lost Obito and Rin.
I sat on the hospital bed, but I was desperate to get out. I walked to the window and opened it to get fresh air. I took a deep breath. I tried to keep my emotionless mask on my face, but it broke when stray tears rolled down my cheeks.
I wiped my face and I turned my back to the window. I was about to go back to bed, but a scream pierced through the air.
I ran back to the window and my eyes caught a girl running down the street, crying. Men were chasing her. I jumped out of the window.
I jumped on the rooftops to her. I dropped in front of her. She stopped running and glared at me. She raised her hand and a sword came out of her palm.
I shook my head and looked behind her. The men were coming closer. "Let me help you," I told her, holding out my hand to her.
She stared at my hand, not trusting me at all. "Please," I begged her. She let out a sigh and grabbed my hand. I pulled her towards me and picked her up bridal style.
"Hey!" She protested, but I jumped up onto the rooftops again. I jumped on the tallest tree I could find and we hid there. I put her on a branch.
She let out a puff of air. "Wow, that was fun." She said, sarcastically. She neatened her hair. It was the beautiful color of silver that darkened into black.
I chuckled at her remark. "If you don't mind me asking, Why were they chasing you?" I asked. She looked down at the ground.
"Sorry, that was a bit rude. My name is Kakashi and you are?" I asked her and smiled.
"I'm Akiya." She said but refused to look at me.
"If those people are going to keep coming after you, You can come live with me. I could protect you." I offered.
Akiya turned to face me. She was angry. "I can protect myself!" She yelled. I had almost forgotten that she summoned a sword out of her hand.
I frowned as I thought of what to say. Obito said that friends are important so I should befriend her.
"Can you control it properly? I could take you to the academy. You can enroll there." I offered. She frowned.
"I -" She tried to say.
"You're not enrolled, you don't have a headband and it's better to have control over your powers than to allow it to control you." I insisted.
"Gee, thanks for your advice, smartypants! I don't see you with a headband either." Akiya said and crossed her arms.
It was my turn to look away. "I left it at the hospital. I do have one."
We sat in silence. "Okay. I'll join the academy." She said. I smiled.
"Great."
Akiya and I were friends ever since then. She lived with me and we were always helping each other. When I became a sensei, Akiya chose to stay at home mostly and only go on missions when she was needed. I told her that it was a bad idea, but she didn't listen.
After a rough day, I got home from training Team 7. I opened the door and I looked around. it was dark. I frowned and found Akiya in the bedroom. She was laying on her back, her eyes were closed and there was a blade in her hands.
