   Mixuan had just woken up. He had never waken up early in the morning. Disciples were attending there usual class. So there was no one to accompany him. He was thinking about what Jiang siblings had said to him. According to them he arrived here three days ago. He was found unconscious near the river and was brought to Lotus Pier as the villagers thought he was Wei Wuxian. He was unconscious for a day. The next day when he woke up they together decided to keep him and his name now is Wei Mixuan, he is Wei Wuxians older brother a demonic cultivator. With a sigh he started strolling in the pavillion. Old memories in gusu came to his mind. Fight with Lan Zhan, getting Lan Zhan drunk, punishment every thing.
'Are you happy now Lan Zhan. I can't even die peacefully. I am receiving my punishment Lan Zhan' he thought.

Meanwhile in original timeline
   Jiang Cheng was helping a half concious Lan Xichen to frost room. Both were heavily injured. Blood dripping from Lan Xichen's leg. The healers were called to aid all the injured disciples.
  " How's everything, are they still coming?" a panicked Lan Qiren asked them.
"We have controlled the first corpse siege but we don't know how many of them are still remaining." Jiang Cheng answered.
" Any news of a-xian or Wangji?" Xichen asked. At which both xiao Bai and Qiren shook there head.
  Days have passed but there's no news of Wei Wuxian or Lan Wangji. The portal had sealed itself after Wei Ying entered it.
" How's a-li and a-chen?"Jiang Cheng asked her. At this Xichen turned to Bai who just lowered her head. Both there health is detoriating day by day. A-chen had received alot of injuries while protecting A-li and other kids. Corpse had poisoned A-li, the same poison was also consumed by a-chen. Both there pulse and spiritual power are just bit fluctuating everything else is normal but I can't ensure about the what will happen in future."she answered. Tears rolled down there face. The kids that had born and brought up in front of them were now dying in front of them and were unable to do anything. Only if they had placed close attention to them.

Flashback 2 days ago
  During clan meeting,
"Zewu jun, miss Lan and young master wen are fighting some fierce corpse in caiyi town."a disciple informed.
"Fierce corpse?" Let's go now."Jiang Cheng ordered his disciples.
"I will join instead of juniors,they are still injured. Let them rest." With a nod they climbed their swords.
" Sizhiu you take my position and continue the meeting. Jingyi help the injured disciples and leaders." Xichen said. "Yes Zewu jun" they both answered in unison.
" Yixuan you take my position and Zizhen help Jingyi" Jiang Cheng said. "Yes sect leader"
" Jiang xiong wait I will join you too she is also my niece too, Zuoroa take my place" Huisang said with a smile and the three rode there swords to caiyi town. The town was covered with corpses Wen Xingchen and Lan Yanli with some disciples fighting with the corpses. Wen Ning from one side destroying the corpses making his way towards the kids. The three stood in front of the kids and killed all the remaining corpse. Wen Ning had also reached there. All the corpses were killed the town was filled with blood and parts of the corpse.
" Uncle" a cheerful voice called from back. A young girl with a bright smile wearing Lan sect robes a white moe and sword in her hand came running to them and hugged the four men.
'Lan Yanli' daughter of Lan Zhan and Wei Ying. Just like her fathers.
"A-li you should have informed us before coming here" Xichen asked his niece." You brat how many times I have told don't be like your a-niang jumping around and stay in your room."Jiang Cheng scolded her. Ignoring him she answered Xichen." I am sorry elder uncle but it really wasn't my fault, that man had kidnapped me here along with them."she said pointing towards a group of kids hiding in a shed.
" A-chen wasn't it your responsibility to be with A-li?" Wen Ning scolded his son. "I am sorry father."
" Wen Ning stop scolding him he also is a kid." Jiang Cheng said.
" Ning uncle it isn't Jian geges fault I was the one who asked him to bring my sword so we could practice but then that man came." She said.
" Which man and where's he I will kill him right now." Jiang Cheng said.
" No need Jian gege already killed him see."she said pointing a dead body.
"A- Chen how did you find her?" Nie Huisang asked.
"Uncle Nie, xian-baba had given me this device on my birthday which shows were A-li is. So that I could find."
He answered. " Hmm, let's go and treat your injuries- before he could finish both the kids fell unconscious.
They were quickly taken to cloud recesses and treated. Corpse poison was detected in both there body.
