I looked around me.

I didn't recognize the place. I was in a narrow corridor and it was very dark. I realized it was late at night.
The floor was stained with blood, that was still fresh since it hadn't dried.
There was so much blood. Not just on the floor but on the walls, blood stained hand marks. They all shimmered from the blueish light that peaked from the window.

I started walking, trying to understand where I was.
I noticed a photo on the wall. It was a family one. Several kids and the parents posed happily for the camera.

"Jossie!" A blood curdling scream echoed from the first floor.
The voice sounded familiar. Then I realized.
It was Kai.

The voice was followed by a feminine yelling.
I stood dumpfounded, unable to move.

A young woman run up the stairs heading to one of the rooms and slamming the door behind her.

A few seconds after Kai followed and my heart dropped.
He wasn't running unlike the woman. Instead he calmly walked over the door. His hand was tightly holding an axe, that he dragged along with him. Making an awful noice.
He calmly swinged the axe and the wooden door broke into pieces, taking me by surprise from how strong he was.

He walked into the room and even though I dreaded it... I followed him.

Kai walked over to the bed and picked it up like it was nothing, revealing a sobbing girl, the same age as him.

"Where are they?!" He screamed at her.

Just then a buzzing noise filled my ears. I screamed in pain, feeling like blood would start oozing out of my ears.

Images of kids brutally murdered, covered in blood, flashed before me and I felt myself tearing up.
Then Kai's face, smiling cruelly as he murdered, what I knew, were his young siblings.

I woke up, drenched in sweat, realizing I was screaming.
The door of my room flew open and Kai stood on the entrance, his brows knitted together in confusion.
He walked over to my bed and I instinctively yelled, raising my hand to stop him.

He ignored me and sat on the edge of the bed.

"It's okay you had a bad dream?" He calmly said.

I stared at him. He looked so much different than in my dream but at the same time I recognized the same dark look in his eyes.
Like there was barely any emotion.

I tried to steady my breathing, looking down at the mattress and not at him. I felt terrified and guilty...
Guilty that I had let myself see him in the way that I did after all the bad things he had done.

"Jennifer look at me. What did you see? " He asked.

"You. Murdering your siblings. " I found the courage to speak, looking straight in his eyes.

He didn't seem fazed that I brought that up. His pupils slightly dilated though.

"It was just a dream. " He said.

I stared at him. This wasn't a dream. It was too detailed.

"I was in a small corridor. There was a family picture on the wall but you weren't in it. I saw you with an axe. " I said quietly. Indicating this wasn't a dream.

His frown made me realize this was actually accurate.

"You followed your sister and yelled at her. You needed to find the rest. You...you butchered your siblings. " I continued.
