"How are we going to find him?" Elena asked, sitting cross legged on the bed.

I looked at Liv. Expecting something.

"Locator spell." Liv answered.
She was bringing some candles and placing them on the ground.

I frowned. "Don't we need something from him?"

Liv looked up and took a stuffed animal out of her bag.
"This was the only toy Kai ever had as a kid. I found it yesterday at my stuff. I think I must have packed it by accident. I used to beg him to keep it because it was like a comfort thing for me. He gave it to me and said he was too old for stuffed animals anyway." She looked down at the stuff dog in her hands. She examined the dirty fur of the toy like it held an answer on why her brother turned evil.

"Anyway that was a long time ago before he showed his true colors." She shook her head and I noticed she was trying to hold back tears.

Liv took care of everything to do the spell and begun chanting.

I stared at the stuff animal in front of her and wondered. What happened to this boy? I shivered and pulled the cardigan Elena had given me closer to my body.

Liv stopped chanting and her eyes opened.
"He seems to be here actually." Her finger pointed to the map.
It was a motel just a few blocks away.

I nodded. "I am going." I stated and went to grab my shoes.

Elena grabbed my arm. "Jennifer wait. Maybe we should come with you."

I shook my head. I was going to let them get hurt.
"I can do this. He will know you are there from miles away. He wouldn't suspect me. " I assured her.

Nobody really looked convinced but I didn't care. I grabbed my shoes and walked out of campus.

Finding the motel was pretty easy since it was relatively close.
I walked in, the lady at the reception didn't even bother to look up from her magazine.

"Hi." I mattered not really knowing what to do.

She looked up in a lazy way.
"Yes?" She said.

"Do you happen to have a boy leaving here? He is tall, dark hair, blue eyes. " I explained.

She raised an eyebrow and chuckled.
"Why would I give you information about someone that lives here? "

"He's my boyfriend." Ι explained.

She eyed me for a moment and then pointed behind me.
"He lives on the 2b5. Cute guy, good for you. I don't think he's here at the moment though. " She said.

I let out a small breath. It was good Kai wasn't here.
"Right." I laughed. "I forgot we weren't supposed to meet here. Thank you." I mattered quickly.

I walked out, heading towards the apartment she had pointed me out. I stared at the door and took our a Bobby pin from my pocket. I smiled at the memory of Jeremy teaching me how to break into anything I wanted with just that.
When the door opened I let out a huge breath, relieved and closed the door.

I immediately started looking everywhere. The room was a complete mess. Clothes were everywhere.
"Damn it Kai. " I cursed under my breath.

I moved from the bed to a wooden drawer. I opened everything tossing stuff out, desperate to find the weird object.

"Are you looking for this?" Kai's voice made me stop like a deer in headlights.

I slowly turned around and saw him holding the weird object he had when we escaped the prison world.
I licked my dry lips thinking of a way out of this.
"I need to help Bonnie and Damon. " Was all I managed to say.
