Chapter 3

I'm half asleep but my phone keeps buzzing and I need to turn off my alarm. Feeling ko kakatulog ko lang tapos nagising din agad dahil sa alarm. Pinatay ko na ang alarm ko, saktong bumukas naman ang pinto kaya napatingin ako sa kapatid kong nakapang-alis nanaman.

"Sis, wake up!"

I saw my lil sister, she's wearing a pink dress. She's wearing a genuine smile before she looked at me. I think she have a gala din for today and I'm letting her to enjoy her life naman. That's the least that I can do for her.

"Yeah! I'm awake." She rolled her eyes before she leave my room.

I prepared my clothes because I'm going to Maeve's bar today, shoot! I forgot to ask Cheche if hinanap ba ako ni Mommy. Even hanapin naman ako ni Mom, Cheche will make a palusot para hindi ako mapagalitan.

I'm in a middle of fixing when my phone rang and I saw Kaila's name, I answered it immediately. Mamaya kasi importante 'to or whatever.

["Hello girl, asan ka na?"] Ang ingay sa paligid niya I think nasa byahe na siya, I'm preparing my things and skincare pa.

"Bahay palang, why?" I went to my walk-in closet to find shoes na bagay sa clothes na napili ko.

["Ang gaga mo! Bilisan mo late lunch tayo may chika ako sa'yo."] I missed my bestfriend kung hindi lang kami magkahiwalay ng school this shs hindi ko 'to mamimiss ksi palagi kaming magkasama.

"Okay okay! May chika din ako. Wait lang maya ko na sabihin sa'yo. " I ended our call.

Kaila is my best friend since grade school. Siya ang pinaka naging close ko sa aming anim. Si Cali and Majo naman ang best friend then si Mav and Malia. Adryan and Leon are also our best friend but we didn't have communication with them frequently.

Tapos na akong maligo and I also finished applying essentials. I ended up wearing my peach bubble sleeves off shoulder with black high waist loose end jeans and white Nike shoes.

"Mang Toni let's go." Umupo ako sa shotgun seat at nagseatbelt when I saw Cheche na tumatakbo papalapit sa kotse and she knocked pa sa may glass kaya binaba ko ang window.

"Ate pasabay." I glared at her before I nod. Pumasok na din siya sa kotse kaya hindi ko na siya pinakialaman.

I call Kaila and she answered after three rang. I think nasa place na siya, lagi talaga siyang early bird and ako naman ang laging late. 

["San kana?"] Iritadong sagot niya, ganda ng bungad.

"On the way na teh! Excited ka ba? Miss na miss huh!" Pang-aasar ko, I heard her 'tss' on the other line before she ended our call. Madalas kaming mag-asaran ni Kaila, minsan naman ay mag-away pero it stronger our friendship. 

"Hey, after you meet Hassan we will go na ha?" She said without looking at me. I'm thinking naman if sinong kasama niya and nang maalala ko si Valen I just nod nalang though hindi niya nakita.

Let's meet at Shakey's kkb.

"Hoy, mauna kana sa loob." I open my waze, "Magkikita lang kami ni Kaila."

"Magkikita din naman kayo sa loob." cold niyang sagot.

Hindi ko na siya sinagot, umalis nalang ako at pumunta sa Shakey's two blocks lang naman ang layo. When I arrived sa shakey's hindi ko naman makita si Kaila kaya tiningnan ko pa buong paligid.

"Pat!" I look for Kaila and I saw her near the window, agad akong lumapit at umupo.

"Did you order?" I put my bag in the other chair, she just nods.
