BLAKE secretly watched Althea at the Scoth residence. Ever since he saw her at the park, he visited her house every day. It was enough for him just to see his wife.

He waited outside the gate of the Scoth home, leaning against one of the acacia trees. She was wearing a dark jacket and pants paired with black Converse shoes and sunglasses. After a few minutes, Althea didn't come out, but her 'supposed' child with Kayzer did.

He stared at the child. From every angle, he saw no resemblance to Kayzer, all he could see was the young Blake.

"Did you think I was so numb, Althea, that I wouldn't know about our child... our son?" Blake bitterly spoke. Yes, he might not be the father in the eyes of the law, but he still had a right to his child.

"No... He's not yours... he's... he's Kayzer's..."

"Kayzer!? Then explain the DNA test to me! Huh!?" He slammed his hand on the table. "Are you really insisting that that fool Kayzer is the father of our child? No! I am the father, Althea. ME!"

Althea's knees buckled, and she collapsed to the floor. Her worst fear had come true. They were going to take her child away. Take everything from her... but not her own child. Losing her son would be the end of her.

Tears streamed down her face. Just thinking about losing her child felt like she was suffocating. She couldn't bear to lose him. Not her son!

"Don't tell me that the child's acknowledged father is Kayzer," Blake suddenly asked, causing Althea to freeze. She looked at the man, whose face showed he was waiting for an answer.

"Damn it...!"

Althea jumped as Blake suddenly threw one of the items on his desk.

"...so it is Kayzer! Answer me, Althea. Is Kayzer the acknowledged father of Blaze?"

"Y... yes."

"What the hell! Why, Althea? Why did you lie to me!?"

"Why are you angry at me!? Who left us? Who didn't take responsibility for him!? Huh! I should be the one who's angry! Me, Blake! Me!"

"So you're blaming me!"

"Yes! I blame you... because from the very beginning, it was your fault!" Althea cried even harder. She didn't know what else to say, but all she felt was anger... anger... and more anger.

"I was begging you not to leave me. I was begging for your love. I was begging you to stay with me. The day you left, I was going to tell you about our child, but..."

"...you left me. You abandoned me. You left me with my son... our son. And now you come back? To ruin everything! To break down the walls I built for five years! And you're the one who's angry!..."

"Did you even think about how I was doing? If I had a good pregnancy? Nope! Because you left me. I carried that pain! If you hadn't left me and I hadn't been hurt... then Blace would still be alive!"

"Wha... who is Blace?"

Althea bitterly laughed. "You don't know her!? He's Blaze's twin, Blake! He was supposed to be the princess of my life! If only she were alive, Blake!!"

"Althea..."

"So I don't deserve to be yelled at by you, Blake. Because from the very beginning, I blamed you! You are the reason I lost a child!"

For the past five years, Althea had been carrying the grief of losing Blace, Blaze's twin. She tried to show that she was happy, but no... she would never get back her old smile because her life felt shattered by the loss of her child. It hurt so much, it felt like her entire being had been torn apart. That's why she blamed Blake for what happened to their child.

"I'm so... sorry."

"Your sorry can't bring back what's lost, Blake, because half of my life is gone."

"I... I really am sorry."

"Stop saying sorry because it disgusts my ears—"

Blake cut her off with his lips. He kissed her. He moved slowly, with care. He caressed her cheeks, tracing circles with his fingers. These were the lips he wanted to kiss. These were the lips he wanted to taste. Althea froze, she didn't know how to react.

"I want to take what is mine, Althea. I want to take what belongs to me. I will take my child. And you too, Althea. I will get what I want by hook or by crook."
