Chapter 13

First chapter of my new book is up!

Percy's POV

I remembered something about Gabe, something bad.

Once, a year ago, I heard him talking to one of his poker buddies. Somethings about Monsters, a terrorist group that went around murdering people in New York. Gabe was talking about joining, but I didn't hear everything.

The police had found a keychain in her house, with a M on it. I thought it was for Monsters, but why would they target Annabeth?

Maybe because Gabe did join the Monsters.

I was at my house, texting Annabeth on my phone. She and her family were staying at a hotel a couple miles from here.

*Text*
Me: when can u move bak?
A: In a week. The police needs to check some more.
Me: I miss you. Homework isnt the same anymore
A: god Seaweed Brain, what would u do without me?
*End*

The next day, Annabeth came to visit. She and I were in my bedroom, huddled on my bed.

"Who do you think did it?" Annabeth asked.

"Monsters," I simply answered. "Or some amateur burglar."

Annabeth smirked, while I played with the ends of her golden hair.

Third Person's POV

"The girl escaped, and she ran to the Jackson's house."

"She wouldn't stay there though. The girl seemed smart. She's probably staying somewhere with her family."

"The little girl's gonna pay for ever messing with a member."

"Percy Jackson's gotta go too."

"What about that woman, Sally? Gabe fancied her."

"Shut up, Joe. No one says 'fancied'."

Arguments erupted in the small unused warehouse. All elder members of the Monsters were gathered for a meeting, discussing revenge ideas on the people that put Gabe in jail.

"What about their friends, Thalia Grace and Luke Castellan?"

"The ones who called? Forget about em."

"They could be useful."

"I've been doing research. This Luke, he's got no family. Lives with some crazy mom, dad left, he's got nothing. The Thalia girl has a family though, a brother named Jason and parents."

(A\N Thalia has a family, okay? Let's pretend)

"What about Chase? What you got on her?"

"Living with her father, step mom, and step brothers, younger. Intelligent and clever."

"How you know all this again, Steve?"

"Don't mind the hacker here."

They knew everything, and they were planning to strike.

"What do we do?"

"Why don't we do something old school. We kidnap 'em, kill 'em, and call Gabe in jail. Then he'll give us some money, comfort poor Sally while she cries ova her son. We all win. Well, except for a kids."

"Good thinking, Ethan. Looks like you're proving to be tough."

So I might do this sometimes, you know, show like an inside of the Monsters' headquarters. I will probably not kill any awesome or loved character like I did in my other book. ;)
