Chapter 5- Washing out the blood

Mars POV

I sat there awhile, with all the blood puddling around me, the bleeding didn't seem like it was going to stop, I should clean this up.

As I got up I realised how much it looked like a horror film, the big pool of blood, red handprints in the wall, a dark and silent room that was only filled with the sound of my heavy breathing. As I grabbed the mop my mind clouded, I thought about that hat just happened, it was no different than the other times, it just felt different, no matter, I shouldn't be thinking about it anyway I have to get this all cleaned up. When the blood was finally gone it was time to look at my cuts and bruises, to see if they needed any plasters or to be cleaned out, I pulled up my sleeves and my trouser legs, not all of the cuts were my parents fault, but who cared? No one, and no one ever will.

As I scanned my legs and arms I discovered that only a few needed to be cleaned and bandaged up, it didn't take long to do, it never did. I finally went back into my room, my body was heavy with fatigue and my body ached with pain, but at least it was over and I am happy because I saw Amber smile.

My phone went off, I rolled over to check my phone to see what it was, it was Amber, she was texting me on Discord, I opened it up to see what she had said

Damn it! I love talking to her but she's always busy, I miss her so much, she is the only one who understands me, and I'm the only one who understands her, whatever, we will meet tomorrow, like always. I should sleep, sleeping helps wounds heal and I don't want Amber to see them.
