When she opened her eyes, all she could see was a blurry whirl.

Seemed like her eyesight was getting worse

Perhaps the blood loss was also to blame.

Wait! Why wasn't she dead?

She looked around. Trying to orient herself in the swirl of her sight.

Everything was so white and gray.

No, stop! There was a splash of colour. A blue greenish one.

She clumsily reached in that direction and caught a hand.

"You're awake" said a soft voice.

Did she know her?

Yes.

From where?

She had no idea.

"Who... who are you?" she asked carefully.

"Lou." the answer came immediately.

"Do I know you?"

"We were friends."

"Were?"

"You have lost your memory."

"And forgot you?"

"Yes"

Carefully she tried to sit up. Immediately pain shot up all over her body.

But this time it was different. He was more subdued. Somehow dazed.

But her mind itself was not quite as clear either.

All of a sudden, she bent over to the side and threw up.

Not that much came out.

But it made her throat burn.

"Shhh" murmured Lou's voice and she stroked her back reassuringly. "Are you okay?"

She nodded.

Where was up and where down again?

"Here" Lou said and handed her something soft. "You must be hungry."

"Yes. Very" She grabbed the bread and bit into it. It tasted like Shuura.

No way. It tasted like bread. She only imagined the Shuura. She couldn't even know what Shuura tasted like.

Lou smiled next to her and offered her a glass of water.

Not that she saw it. She just knew it.

"Do you remember your name?" asked the teenager after giving the glass to young Togruta.

"No. So yes. I don't know. They call me Ah...soka or something."

Lou smiled. A beginning. Then she took out a piece of coal. She always had some with her.

Carefully, she took her friend's orange hand and put the piece of coal inside.

"What... what is this?" the question came immediately.

"What does this remind you of?"

A short silent in which Lou watched the Togruta came.

"A man... He has a scar on his eye. I'm not sure but he looks like my master."

"How does the word master feel when you think of him?"

"Surely... safe." came back without delay.

Then another question. Softly, almost whispered. From the mouth of Ahsoka.

"Are you on my side or his are you manipulating me?"

Lou couldn't help but smile easily. This question had to come.

Otherwise she would have wondered if Ahsoka had been switched.

"I'm on your side. But that's his side too, because he's not as shitty as the others. And no, I'm not manipulating you. I'm not smart enough, Ahsoka.

The Togruta nodded and took Lou's hand.

"You also radiate security," she said.

Lou had nothing to say to that.

"Sleep," she said and carefully pushed Ahsoka back down.

Ahsoja sat up again. She was curious about Lou.
