"No, please lay down. Sleep. You must rest," Lou tried to get her to sleep, but Ahsoka was as stubborn as ever.

"Tell me more," the Togruta said.

"After you slept"

Ahsoka crossed her arms. "Nope."
Lou sighed annoyed and decided to give it one last try.

She started humming softly.

It took her a moment to get the tones right, but she had used this song so many times to calm herself.

It was the song her mother had always sung to her when she was still with her.

Ahsoka looked at her. "What..." a yawn from herself interrupted her.

Lou hummed on. She herself knew how calming this song was. Almost as if it had something magical about it.

Ahsoka yawned once more, and Lou pushed her back down gently.

This time, Ahsoka let it happen.

The humming teenager carefully put the blanket around the young Togruta, who was already struggling to keep her eyes open.

"How do you do that...?" she murmured, almost half asleep.

Lou didn't answer, just kept humming, and began to stroke calming over Ahsokas lekku.

"you can sing beautifully," the young Togruta muttered before she disappeared into the land of dreams.

And this time, for the first time in weeks, without nightmares.

Lou sat there for quite a while, still humming the song.

Only when Anakin entered quietly she fell silent.

He looked at Ahsoka and came closer. He wasn't stupid, well not that stupid, he noticed that Ahsoka was sleeping and no longer unconscious.

"You got her to rest?" he asked Lou.

The addressed one nodded.

"Voluntarily?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

Lou nodded again.

"But that's not because of the memory loss, is it?"

Now the blue-skinned one shook her head. Instead, she gently stroked Ahsoka's lekku, who had been moving during the conversation.

Anakin pulled up a chair and sat down with her.

"You can talk, can't you?"

she nodded.

"You just don't want to?"

she nodded.

"To no one?"

now Lou pointed at Ahsoka.

"You talk to her?"

she nodded.

"why are you talking to her?"

Lou just shrugged.

"She's easy to trust, isn't she? She's someone you just wanna love and protect."

Another nod.

"Where are you from?"

Now she looked at him insulted. He slapped his flat hand against her forehead.

"That's right. You're not talking"

She had to giggle. Anakin didn't.

She pulled out a piece of coal and wrote the name of her home planet on the wall.

"You can write?"

she nodded once more.

"How did you learn?"

She looked at him insulted again.

"Can you write it?"

She put the money away. So obviously no.

Anakin looked at the name on the wall.

"I've heard about that planet. It was destroyed by an artificially induced supernova, right?

She looked at him with a "no" look. It was all too easy to interpret. Ahsoka could do the same look.

"Actually, I wanted to thank you for watching out for her."
