A flood came crashing down on her.
A flood that carried everything within it.
Unprotected by her mental barriers, the force flowed through her mind, threatening to sweep it away.
Never before. Never had she felt so many emotions at once.
Never thought so many thoughts at once.
In short:
Never had so much force pulsed in the young body.
The force flowed through her veins like blazing fire, only that its flames did not burn her.
It was so much...
So much...
So incomprehensible...
It swapped over all that was left of Ahsoka's shattered mind, threatening to take it with it.
Without her mental barriers... she was completely unprotected.
Never had a Jedi made such a foolish mistake.
Never had anyone so naively surrendered themselves to the greatest force of nature in the galaxy.
It stormed.
It stormed not only inside her, but also around her.
A huge storm had formed in the idyllic clearing, destroying everything in its path.
Only she herself sat untouched in its center.
Impregnable, in the eye of the storm, because for her the storm raged in her head.
Every thought was thrown into confusion until she no longer knew where was up and where was down.
Her mind was about to be torn away from her own body.
Unable to rebuild her mental shields, her protection she was completely helpless.
Helpless and at the mercy of a force she did not understand.
Of which she knew nothing, except that it existed.
If her memory had not been erased. If she had been left with the knowledge that told her what such an action caused, she would never have had the completely absurd idea of opening her shields so wide.
Her deepest inner lay open in to the force, like a shell whose pearl was revealed by the current.
Which was opened up, and whose pearl was about to be carried away.
It needed no granré.
No ryak.
No Gil.
No Dooku.
She could destroy her mind all by herself.
If Anakin would be here now, he would have shielded her mind.
If Obi-Wan would be here, he would have done the same.
But neither of them was there.
If Rex had been there, he would have stunned her, bringing her consciousness to safety.
If Kix had been here, he would have followed the same path as Rex.
Any of the boys, would have just had to set their blaster to stun and shoot to protect her mind from whatever was going on inside her right now.
But none of them was here to help her.
And even if they had been.
The storm swept around her.
Not even Anakin would have been able to break through it.
Not Anakin, not Obi-Wan, not Sidious, not Dooku.
Not even Master Yoda himself would have been able to reach the girl.
The storm consisted of pure Force.
Force in its most untamed, purest form.
And unstoppable it stormed around, in a circle around the injured child in its center.
As if he wanted to protect her.
