I don't own, blah...

No-one

Elyza stared at the floor nervously, biting her lip, trying to process everything at once, but was very excited about staying in the same house with him. Liz-Marie was looking back and forth between the two. Erik was staring at her sister and Elyza continued to stare down, her hands were trembling at their sides. Erik noticed. "My dears", he spoke, a little more than a whisper, his voice was soothing and calm, soft. It made both girls shiver slightly. "If you are uncomfortable in any way, I would not mind distancing myself so that we may simply co-exist..." The elder sister shot her green-eyed glance up to the man's blue and green's. "No, Erik... I am not uncomfortable in any way.. I am just trying to adapt to my new surroundings. This is all rather overwhelming and new to me. I'll come around soon, don't worry." She smiled at him. A genuine, lop-sided smile. He smiled back and nodded in understanding. "Yes, of course, Elyza. Pray, forgive me." He looked to Liz-Marie. "Well, my child, what do you think of the house?" She grinned up at him and began jumping up and down, giddily. "I think it is the most beautiful house I've ever been in! It's so large and", she sighed dreamily at him. Liz-Marie also had a liking for the man, and he could see that. He patted her head gently, which made her sigh. "It's wonderful." Erik chuckled at the younger sister; Elyza just stared at him with flushed cheeks, absolutely smitten. "I'm glad you think so", Erik checked his outlandish pocketwatch. "Come, I'll make dinner. The both of you can help. What would you like?" The sisters looked at each other, then back to him and said in unison, "spaghetti and meatballs!"
