I'm baaaaaaack. I SINCERELY apologise for not updating at all this summer even though I promised I would so... *tears* please don't hate me. I'm sorry for the shortness of this chapter. I hope some people still read this and without any further (unfair) ado...
                              Elyza
I stared at Liz-Marie and I could only nod. I knew she was right with every word. "You are right, Liz... I'm so sorry..." She huffed at me. "Tell Erik that! He's gone off somewhere. Who knows when he'll be back?" It was then that she said something which inevitably broke my heart. "Why do you always have to make everyone leave us?" What hurt most was how curious she sounded when she said it, as though she were actually asking. I couldn't respond. I averted my gaze and bit my tongue to keep from crying. The girl sighed and said after, "I'm sorry." I nodded, not really listening. Why did I make everyone leave us? I couldn't think about it any longer because Erik had suddenly strode into the room. I jumped up as high as I was able to and said, "Erik, I'm so--." He approached the bed, leaned his face closer to mine and sneered dangerously quiet, "Oh, I don't care that you're sorry... When we're finished here, whatever we had is done."
