I own everything else, but the Phantom.

Erik

I bent down to Liz-Marie's height and leaned in close to her face. I spoke in mock politeness. "My dear, what would you do if you loved someone with all your heart and soul?" She blinked and averted her eyes. "Well... I would make sure they knew how much I loved them. I felt the corners of my malformed lips twist up into a distorted smile. "Yes, and if you were worried about them leaving you for someone better--?" "Erik!" Elyza's voice rang out loudly throughout the estate. Liz-Marie looked past me and up the staircase. "Elyza", Liz-Marie yelled back, much to my horror. "Oh, sister, please let me out! He's locked me in!" My heart began to crack at her voice. She seemed so afraid, so sick. The girl was sobbing as she shouted, I heard. Liz-Marie turned back to me. Her eyes hardened with horror. She began to tremble as she ran upstairs to free her elder sister. I did not stop her, for I knew I would forever be feared and resented. I stared at the space the young girl had once stood, my mind racing. Distantly, I heard the lock of the doors. I heard crying and hurried footsteps. I watched them through the bars of the wooded banister. A prisoner in my own home. I saw Elyza trailing behind her sister as they ran down the staircase. I did not think they noticed me for their only intentions were to escape. The beauty in the Victorian dress and the carbon-copy in jeans and a sweater drew closer to me, completely blinded by their own fear. Elyza's troubled gaze met mine, the grey orbs filled themselves with horror and anger. "Y-you are a proper psychopath... And now, we need to leave." I didn't answer. I wanted to speak, but I couldn't. This was destined to happen. "Let's go." The carbon-copy spoke. They fled the house, not worrying about their belongings. I watched them as they left the house, I followed them out the doors in a daze, they ran faster. Elyza ran across the street, but Liz-Marie stopped abruptly and stayed where she was. "Elyza look out!" The girl turned to her sister in confusion, then she looked to the side. A speeding car had run right into her and she collapsed to the asphalt, beginning to bleed. The driver didn't stop and fled the scene. "Oh, my God..." My mind shut down and my chest suddenly seared in pain. I watched as Liz-Marie ran over to her. She let out a piercing scream and I just stood there, fear penetrating my body. My heart stopped as I walked slowly to investigate the limp body that was Elyza. The walk from the door to the street seemed endless, but finally, I made it. I knelt down next to her body. Hot blood was oozing from her head and her leg. I lifted up her skirts slightly to see that the cage of her dress and been rammed through her. And worst of all, she was not moving or breathing. "Call 911." Liz-Marie looked at me, paralyzed by shock. "Call 911, I said!" It was all my fault...

You can hate me, but don't hate Erik.
