I blinked, trying to process what Erik had just said. What? Suddenly, it hit me like a truck and my blood ran cold. I stared at his masked countenance and noticed that half of it was sad and angry. The other half was completely emotionless. I'll leave that up to you to decide which was which. I slowly, numbly shook my head... "But... But... Erik... After all that we've been...?" "That should not matter to you. After all, you don't remember any of it."

I watched what was occurring, silent. I never thought today would be the day of reckoning for Erik and Elyza's love. I had tears in my eyes, but no words to form from my lips. "Erik... You mustn't leave..."
