Skye's POV
"Round one wasn't enough?" I threatened storming into the room. All the anger retuned
"You really have a death wish Tyler" his eyes were locked on me and he was clearly uncomfortable but he was slightly calmer, if anything he should be worse, he's outnumbered and I'm here, that's enough.
"Sit down" My Dad instructed but it was white noise due to the thick deadly tension.
"I SAID SIT DOWN X" His voice turned deep and threatening, it's a warning and it's certainly clear that he is taking control but I am far from okay with this.
"Fine" I groan falling onto one of his chairs "But he'll be lucky to make it out alive"
Usually that would make Blake laugh, instead he along with Axel and Grayson were deadly silent, they didn't look best impressed either.
"Mr. Mace here has declared his involvement in a certain issue you have interest in"
Mr. Mace was a generous name, that name has class this boy is far from class, he shouldn't even be called Tyler, I can think of hundreds of more fitting names.
"Well Wolfie, you are about two days behind, he's already fed me those lies at the ball and quite frankly you are wasting everyone's time" his stern facial expression didn't change but I could sense he wasn't going to give up.
"Skye, I can help I know their plans and locations"
I whip my head in his direction which was on the chair next to me, unfortunately. "And who told you to speak?" he took the hint of the rhetorical question and didn't speak another word.
"Believe me he was seconds away from a bullet to the head, but he spoke some sense"
I stood from my chair and slammed my palms on his desk "It's very rare I disagree with you Father but I swear if you have given him any information things are about to get bloody in here!"
He scoffed slightly "This isn't the first time I've dealt with these situations"
"Well, maybe you should be more careful who you employ" It was a low blow but he knew I was right. "As it seems it is Mr. Mace's Father who is behind this after all" I air quoted Mr. Mace making my sarcastic motion clear.
I turned back to look at Tyler who raised his eyebrows confirming what I already knew.
"He isn't the only one though, there are others and a lot of them. We'll be outnumbered" I let out a dry chuckle and smirked at his stupidity
"You must have forgotten our capability" I moved slowly around his chair "I can take out anybody" I stood behind his chair quickly bringing a blade to his neck. He took a sharp breath when he felt the cold metal against his throat "In seconds" I whisper.
I used to get an excited yet nervous feeling when I was close to him like this, now, I just want to commit to what I am doing.
"Skye!" My Dad warned, I roll my eyes
"And there is no WE" I growl I retract my blade and walk away. The boys were smirking clearly enjoying the show.
"I'm not expecting you to trust me but if you want to stop this going further just listen. What have you got to lose?"
We always had something to lose but I hate to admit it he may have a point. If this could actually stop the fires I would be a fool to ignore it because of personal problems.
The room is deadly silent but it was full of thoughts. I sighed sparking attention "Fine, but one wrong move you'll have me to deal with"
He nodded he head "I think we're done here" I harshly said looking at my Dad, he shouldn't have put me in this situation.
