i think that it's not theoretically impossible to have your own child?
like if someone were to have both testes and ovaries, they could theoretically impregnate themselves.
if they had a uterus they might be able to bring it to term too, then they could actual have their own child.
but then the real questions arise:
a) how would that work
b) would it be like, a clone of themselves?
and afaik, the answer to the last question is that it's impossible to make a clone.
first of all, epigenetics and personal experience would make them a different person over time anyways.
second of all, a person's eggs are less theirs than their mother's, since all the eggs in an ovary are produced before they are even born. in that way, it would be more like having their own twin or sibling.
and third, genetic variation in each egg and sperm, and each possible combination within their dnas make it extremely unlikely to make a perfect copy. so, again, it'd be more like a sibling than clone.
uhhhhhh idk.
just a thought.
