I looked around to see some familiar faces, “Good, you brought the others. We should go meet up with Ant now.” I waved at them and smiled. It’s good to see familiar faces, even though we’re all trapped here. “Come on!” I beckoned them forward and walked through the bushes using magic to hold back branches.
“We’re walking on purple~ Oh oh oh!” Sky belted.
“It’s time to feel good!” Tyler joined him.
“So, you still have your magic?” Ty was walking in back of me.
“Yep! But, not a lot, I’ll have to start sparing it soon.” I explained.
“That sucks.” Ty said.
“So, have you figured out who the King person is?” I questioned.
“Uh...no. But we have a couple leads, like, it’s not Kennan.” Ty began.
“Well, that’s who Ant and I thought it was, so I’m out of ideas. How did you find out it wasn’t her?”
“Adam talked to her privately and she told him that the King would kill her if she told anyone.”
“Damn.”
“Yeah…you do know who she is right?”
“You mean who her relative is?” I laughed, “Course. I got in trouble for magic casting and I swear Notch was gonna kill me, but she appeared just in time to save my skin.”
“Woah, wait-you got in trouble with Notch?” Ty wondered.
“Yeah, magic is hard to keep legal sometimes.”
“I guess,” Ty shrugged.
I looked ahead to see a familiar clearing and peppermint house, “Hey guys! We’re here!” I yelled back to the others. We walked along a path to the shack in the middle. I looked back to see Jordan crossing his arms in slight awe, while Bash high-fived Tyler and Sky fist-bumped the air. I smiled brightly and turned to the door. I did the special knock that Ant, Jordan, and I decided on and opened the door and took a couple steps in...
