4 months later...

The December feeling is back like before and feels miserable. Even inside my house it's still cold. No snow falling from the afternoon sky was seen but the frost stays on the strips of grass. And there I sit, with a cup of hot cocoa in my shivering hands. I practically cocooned myself in my thick blanket and keep my eyes on the TV. The grinch was on TV and heck, Christmas mode was turned on in my brain.

"HELP ME!" The grinch says from the TV. "I'M... FEELING." He grabs his heart and gasps for air. My hands almost let go of my mug, but I keep my grip on it.

Those lines... my eyes travel away from the TV. That reminds me of something. Like the love of my...

"Ace," I gasp and chug my drink. My stomach hurts after that and I turn off the TV. Everything becomes silent and eerie in the dark room as I lift myself up off the couch. I pull my phone out and scroll through my contacts. The first contact was Kat. I click on her contact and put the phone to my ears. Ringing sounds occur as I wait impatiently.

"Sup?" Her low- pitched voice echoes in my ear.

"Kat, I need your help!" I say. Kat hums, ready to hear what I need help with. "Do you know if the Gorillaz are are available?" I look out the window. The suns is peaking over the purple hills already. Sunset already?!

"Yeah, they are," Kat says with no expression. Her reaction was WAY different from mine. For me, I jumped up from my couch and celebrate.

"YESSSS!!!" I yell into the phone and dance. "THANK YOU!" I say before hanging up.

Russel's POV

"Noodle, what is so special about anime?" A sigh escapes my mouth and I slump down on the bouncy sofa. Noodle looks back at me like I killed her entire family.

"Anime is EVERYTHING!!!" She exclaims with widen eyes. My eyes trail up to the TV and see a bald man in a superhero cape eat a knife.

"He's eating a knife! What the hell is this anime?!"

"It's called One Punch Man. That bald guy's name is Saitama," she stares at the TV. She looks so engrossed with it- like she worships anime.

"Well whatever it is, you can enjoy it while I get some chips," I say and get up. My toes nuzzle on the fuzzy carpet before I continue walking.

Ding dong!

Ugh who could it be? Noodle runs to the door and opens it. Y/n stands there in the cold as she rubs her arms rapidly.

"Hey, y/n," I welcome her and pull my chips out of the box. "Come on in."

"Thanks," she walks in and immediately sits on the sofa. Her jacket is dripping and the h/c hair strands are straighter than a spaghetti straw. "Is Ace here?"

"Oh, you're here for Ace?" We all turn around and scratch our necks. "Well..."

"Don't tell me he's still crying about me. I'm here to help him," y/n smiles sweetly, making it hard to say he's...

He's gone...

"Oi, Noodle turn down the volume!" Murdoc stumbles down the stairs with an empty beer bottle. Typical pickle.

"What the- you're not Ace!" Y/n turns around and looks at him disgustingly. "Wh-where the bloody hell is Ace?!"

"Oh you're here fo-"

"OF COURSE IM HERE FOR ACE!!!" Y/n screams in frustration. "Can you guys stop pointing that out?!"

"Listen, y/n. He's back with his gang. Ace isn't part of the band anymore," Murdoc tries to keep her calm. Y/n gasps a little.

"He q-quite?" She starts to tear up.

"No. He was just a replacement for me while I was in jail," he sits next to her and slouches down. "He won't be here anymore. I'm sorry that you came here to hear this."

"No... NO I NEED HIM BACK!!!" Y/n pulls her on her hair. "WE'RE GONNA HAVE A CONCERT AND I WANT TO PLAY WITH HIM!!!"

"Woah calm down!" Murdoc grabs her shoulders. "If ya wanna get him back, here's his address."

He hands over a small yellow sticky note to y/n and she grasps it in her grip.

"Go get that man," Murdoc confidently says and y/n smiles. She heads to the door and when she is completely gone, we all stare at Murdoc in surprise.

Your POV

"Ace, I'm coming for you," a huff escapes my mouth as I slam the door of the taxi. "Drive to this place."

"Alright," the driver says with no emotion in his tone and takes the note. The car skids and takes off to Ace's area.

"ACEACEACEACEACE!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs as I walk up the hill to his house. Once I reach his door, I slam my fist on the doorbell and it could be heard from outside.

Maybe I broke the doorbell.

"Oi, who the frick are you?" A tall and slender green guy leans against the doorframe. How many green people are in this world?!

"U-uh. I'm y/n  l/n and I'm here to see Ace Copular," I look behind the tall guy. A gang of green people sit still and stare back at me. And I see Ace smoking a cigarette on top of the couch with his other green buddies.

"Y-y/n???" The same voice from 4 months ago calls me. Ace walks to the door and the smell of smoke and suavage dior cologne. "Is that really you?"

"ACEY!!!" I jump on him, making us fall on the floor together. We both laugh and happy cry on the floor while his gang watches us awkwardly.

"Leader, you never told me you had a girlfriend," the same tall guy giggles. "Thatssssss ssssso cool!"

"Thanks, Snake," Ace pushes me off and helps me up. "So, toots. What brings ya here?"

"We already filled up Air Blanket with our music and our concert is 2 weeks from now," I squeal. "And I want you to play with us."

"Yea, that's sounds brilliant but what about Murdoc?" He cocks his head to the side.

"Just play with us! You were with us when we wrote the song!"

"Alright, fine!" Ace chuckles and kisses me. Everyone makes an 'awe' sound. Ace and I become a blushing mess. "Snake, take care of the gang while I'm gone. Y/n?"

"Yes?"

"Let's do this."
