The week slowly goes by and just as Billie starts to feel better, it's time for her second round of chemotherapy.
"I don't want to keep doing this." Billie says to herself.
Celestial hears her though, " I know Billie, I wish you didn't have too." She tells her.
Maggie and Patrick have gone home for the night and the doctor comes in to start the Chemo. At first it's okay but just as expected her body reacts worse then the first time.
Billie is laying in her hospital bed and Celestial is in a chair sitting beside her when she hears Billie start to choke in her sleep.
She immediately jumps up from her chair and goes to help Billie sit up so she can stop choking on her own vomit.
As Billie gets sick, the alarms go off to signal the doctors that her vitals are off.
Multiple nurses and doctors rush into the room, startling Celestial.
"We should probably get her put on oxygen." The doctor tells one of the nurses.
Celestial steps back and let's them do their job.
Another nurse gets Billie cleaned up and in a new gown since she was covered in her own vomit.
After a few minutes everything calms down and Billie is set on a low dosage of oxygen.
"Baby?" Billie says as she starts to wake up.
"I'm here, I'm here." Celestial coos
She sits on Billie's bed, "you scared us there for a bit."
Billie mumbles something and scoots over a tad, Celestial takes that as a hint that Billie wants her next to her.
"What's this?" Billie says still sort of out of it.
"It's your oxygen tube, you won't need it forever, just until you get stronger." Celestial softly says.
One of the doctors calls Billie's parents to update them on everything and before long they show up.
"Did you want to take a rest back at our place?" Maggie asks Celestial.
She looks at Billie whose arm is around her waist and then back at Maggie, "I can't leave her, not like this." She says
Maggie nods her head in agreement and looks at Patrick.
He's tried to stay strong but a few tears fall off his cheek. Seeing his little girl is such a fragile state is hard.
Seeing Maggie and Patrick silently cry as they sit down has made Celestial realize just how seriously this is and how sick Billie really is.
She has a scan in the morning to see how the cancer is reacting, they all hope for good news but at the same time prepare for the worse.
Billie, with the little strength she has grabs Celestial's hand and squeezes it, Celestial squeezes it back ever so slightly. Billie's hands have become so thin and fragile just like the rest of her body.
"I love you." Celestial whispers to Billie and kisses her shoulder as they lay there, in the hospital bed.
Just savoring every moment.

A/N: you better believe I've been researching different things about cancer and the treatments for it.
