"It's cancer"
Those two words from the doctors changed everything.
"I'm I going to be okay?" Billie says, her voice shaking from fear.
"We need to start chemotherapy right away." Is how the doctor answered that question.
Maggie leaves the room for a little to call Patrick and Finneas, leaving Celestial alone with Billie.
A few doctors enter the room and get everything ready for Billie's first round.
"Only one extra person can stay here with you." The doctor tells Billie, "it's protocol"
"Please don't leave me." Billie whispers to Celestial.
"I'm not going anywhere bubs." Celestial says back.
The doctors allow celestial to hold Billie's hand as they set up her port for treatments.
Their eyes lock and Celestial starts to sing to distract and comfort Billie.
She quietly sings "Medicine by Daughter"

A couple tears fall from Billie's face onto her hand that Celestial is holding

You've got a beautiful brain
But it's disintegrating

Even though Billie is going through a lot, she still smiles at the beautiful red headed girl singing in front of her. She's so shocked and proud of her. This is the first time Celestial has made a sound in front of more people then just Billie.
She almost forgets what's going on around them and is put in a trance like state.

The doctors start the Chemo and Maggie is allowed back in the room with Finneas and Patrick.
They try their bests to stay strong for their daughter even so maybe Billie will be more at ease despite the doctors saying the scans aren't looking good.
"I am so sorry." Finneas says and breaks down in tears falling down beside Billie in her hospital bed.
"I am so so sorry." Finneas hugs her the best he could despite all the wires.
He isn't one to cry much but seeing his little sister like this breaks him to the core.
"Thank you for contacting me Celestial, thank you for being here and being there for my little girl." Maggie whispers to Celestial
"Y... you're... you're welcome." Celestial stutters.
Maggie can't believe that Celestial is speaking to her, she's never heard her talk before.
Finneas holds Billie's hand as she falls to sleep.

"I just... I l-love her.. s-so much." Celestial tells Maggie and Patrick.
"She is very lucky to have you looking out for her." Patrick says.
"S-she saved.... she saved me..." Celestial tells them.
Finneas stands up and joins the conversation,
"I don't think you realize how much you saved her, not just now but throughout everything. Everything she's been through with depression and now this. You gave her a reason, you are her reason." Finneas tells Celestial.

"She... sh-e-e will will be okay." Celestial says through the anxiety trying to hold her back but she realizes that it's not about her right now.
They aren't going to hurt her, or say something judgmental. They aren't going to make her do anything she doesn't want to do.
"I really do love her." Celestial says more bravely this time
"I'm going to marry her someday." She says, looking down at her ring.
Then asks, "can I go sit next to her?"
"Of course you can, she may be my daughter but she's you're girlfriend. She is very very in love with you." Maggie tells Celestial, reassuring her.
She goes and sits next to Billie and holds onto her hand, a nurse brings in more chairs for the rest of the family. "We can only have one person stay the night with her, who will be doing that?" The nurse asks.
"Celestial will, unless Billie says otherwise." Patrick says.
The nurse looks around the room and spots Celestial who raises her hand to let the nurse know who she is.
A couple hours past and the day comes to and end, Billie wakes up for a little bit to say goodnight to her parents. "Celestial is staying with me, you're staying right?" Billie asks turning her head to celestial.
"Of course baby, I told you I'm not going anywhere." Celestial says.
Billie and her family say their goodbyes and another doctor comes in to check on them.
"Press this button is you need anything, oh and you and your girlfriend can share a bed if you want or she can sleep there in a chair next to you. Either way is fine with us." The doctor says and smiles.
"Thank you." Billie says and scoots over a bit to make room for Celestial.
"Come on in baby girl." Billie says all soft and cute.
"Oh and here are the bags of you start to feel sick from the side effects, we will check in often so don't mind us." Another doctor says.

A/N: why am I crying over my own storyyyyy! In my defense I don't plan out much, it kinda just writes itself as I go and I just double check to make sure it's as accurate and realistic as possible
