Uraraka did a double take when she looked at him. "You got me a present?? When? Wait! I didn't get to give you anything yet I'll feel bad-
"Doesn't matter, that wasn't the question."
She scoffed but couldn't hide her smile. She scooted her seat closer to him and grabbed his hands.
"I'd love to open the present now.", she said smiling.
He looked away slightly from her enchanting eyes and squeezed her hands softly.
"Sure.", he answered. "Give me one second."
He walked towards his Christmas tree and bent down to retrieve a small box.
"W-What's in the b-box-
"It's not what you think it is Roundface, calm down."
She looked him up and down with a blush on her face. He shrugged his arm's defensively and rolled his eyes.
"You're not even my girlfriend, why would I do that?"
She coughed and shook her head.
"You made the box look so suspicious! Don't look at me like I'm a terrible judge of character."
She carefully undid the wrapping and looked at the pretty box. It was a Panlora box. While looking at him in confusion, she carefully opened the box to see a beautiful necklace. The same beautiful necklace she saw in the store last night.
"When did you-How did you? Wait no! I can't take it, it's too expensive. It's too nice! We're not-", she stuttered.
He chuckled as he pulled out the necklace and began to put it around her neck.
"Not yet anyway.", he said quietly.
She looked up at him pink in the face and slightly tilted her head.
"I was going to use this necklace to ask you out on a date. A real date, not like beating each other up at 5am. If...you're up for it, I'd really like to take you someplace nice today."
Her eyes dilated when she looked at Bakugo after he had put on the necklace. She couldn't believe this was happening, all it of. After three years, she never would've thought this was a possibility. It never once popped in her mind, but here she was, falling in love with her explosive classmate in his kitchen on Christmas morning. Not many people could say that's a normal occurrence.
"I'd love to, Bakugo."
He gave her a warm smile and exhaled.
"Let's go then."
"Like... right NOW?"
****Timeskip of like an hour****
He drove her back to her house, and checked around the it. He peered into the windows and checked her doorknob for warmth.
"Looks alright to me from the outside.", he concluded. "Give me your key."
She gave him a look of confusion.
"Making sure there's nothing inside dummy. I don't want your house."
She gave an embarrassed laugh and tossed the keys to him. He slowly unlocked it with her smallest metal one and opened the door slowly. He turned on the light and looked around. He came back outside and waved her in that the coast was clear.
"Thanks!", the girl chirped as she stepped inside. "Thank God they didn't get inside."
Uraraka took off her shoes and walked straight to her room. "You can chill on the couch!", she called. "Watch TV or whatever, I'm going to shower!"
