(If you're still reading this, I'm guessing your just invested at this point, lol. Sorry for any previous really long chapters. I didn't want anything to seem rushed or out of place.)
Bakugo pulled into the parking lot after a silent ride to the hero training grounds. It was a large roundish building that only young heroes could practice their quirks. You had to have a hero license and you had to tell them you were coming 12 hours in advance to have a room set up. Everyone in UA had used it, Bakugo more than most.
"Why did you bring me here?", she finally asked. "You really couldn't have thought of anything else?"
Bakugo didn't say anything as he pulled a medium duffle bag with their hero customers.
"It'll just be like old times.", he said. "Thought it would be good for us."
She paused, but gave a small smile. He wasn't giving off any impression that he was angry about yesterday, but taking her for combat on her b-day was weird. He's shown that he could take a girl on a proper date, so why do this? She knew he knew it was out of nowhere, so what was this?
She would still knock him upside the head later, but she guessed this was Bakugo trying to make an effort to make amends. She would see where this was going, and hoped it would be worth her time.
She tried to grab the duffle bag with her costume, but he wouldn't let her grab it as they started walking toward the building.
"The birthday girl shouldn't be holding anything.", he said.
"The birthday girl shouldn't be fighting and getting sweaty, either.", she mumbled.
"The birthday girl signed up for that when she became a hero.", he shot back.
"The birthday girl doesn't want to admit your right and refuses to go on with this conversation.", she said puffing her cheeks.
Bakugo snorted and opened the front door for her.
"Whatever, angel face."
She stared him down as he checked them both in. There wasn't really anyone there, even though it was relatively early.
They walked to the large (looks like the one at school it's big big) room he reserved and they walked to the separate changing rooms.
The changing room for the room had to two side by side stalls that were like a bathroom, but weirdly had no doors.
She slipped off her shirt and bra but still had her pants on. She covered herself with her arms, scared Bakugo would somehow see her.
"Bakugo if you try anything, I'll send you to orbit.", she threatened her face red.
"I know you will.", he called.
"I'm serious!", she demanded.
"If you don't want me to look, than don't stand so close to the mirror. Its reflective, sooo."
She squeaked and squatted down.
"BAKUGO!", she cried.
"I didn't see anything!", he said realizing how that came out. "I mean like I can see, but I didn't look. You're not, like, right there!"
"Then why'd you say it like that? You're such a...", she muttered trying to put on her uniform with as little skin showing as possible.
Bakugo couldn't help but snicker at how he'd flustered the girl.
"I won't walk past your door until your done okay?", he said trying to hide a smile.
"Yeah, whatever. Who designed this stupid thing? I'm definitely not going easy on you!", she rambled slipping into her suit.
