Bakugo walked out of his house about a half hour later and it was a little past noon. Under his winter wear, brown turtleneck under a beige bomber jacket, and denim jeans. He didn't know what he should've worn for this occasion, but he figured his skull hoodie wasn't going to cut it. He looked comfortable but approachable.
He got in his car and began to navigate to her house. When he was pulling down her street, he got a call from her.
"Hey, I'm on my way there now."
"Hiii, so I let them know you were coming and they seem pretty...stoked?"
"You hesitated."
"I mean, well, you know how parents are, they're just a little protective! But excited, I think."
"Well, I'm about to pull up in your driveway, so I'll see if you're lying or not."
"O-okay! I'll meet you there! Stay there."
Bakugo pulled up on the side street and waited outside his car with flowers, chocolate, and a cologne in a bag.
He heard the door open and saw her in a pink sweater, and vintage jeans. She walked up to him and smiled.
"You ready?", she said nervously.
Bakugo nodded his head and walked with his hand in hers.
"Dad? Mom? Bakugo's here!", she called out opening the door.
Suddenly, all they heard was the sound of slicing in the kitchen that was loud. VERY loud.
"Oh! Is he?", her mom said passive aggressively. "Coming!"
Bakugo saw her dad first with a silver knuckle ring glaring from the darkness. Sweat started to appear on his forehead but, stood firm.
"I'll be right back!", she said almost too sweetly. "You can sit on the couch."
He walked over too the couch as he saw her drag her father out of the dark and into the kitchen with her mother.
He heard their conversation and fought back a laugh.
"What is your problem? You literally just said you were excited to meet him!", she whispered.
"I gotta intimidate him sweetheart! How else am I suppose to see who he really is!", he whispered back.
"Oh my-put your ring away! You guys are so extra!", she groaned. "Mom you too?"
Her mom held up her knife and looked at her reflection.
"None shall passeth this test without thy challenge.", she whispered.
She looked at her mom, then dad, then back at her mom.
"You guys are just-just...I'm going to go back with Bakugo...please come out and be nice...for me.", she said rubbing her temples. "Please."
She walked back out to Bakugo who was bouncing his knee. She touched his shoulder and he flinched.
"I've never seen you like this.", she giggled passing him a water bottle.
He rolled his eyes and took the water bottle.
"Thanks."
Bakugo then caught her parents at the corner of his eye and shot up.
"Hello! Bakugo, was it?", her mother asked with a forced smile.
"Yes, ma'am!", Bakugo stated. "It's nice to meet you."
He went in for a handshake but she gave him a hug. Bakugo was taken aback, but softly hugged her back. Until she began to squeeze a little harder. Then a little harder.
