*I meant to put five minutes till midnight but whatever y'all get the jist. *
Bakugo went up first so he could help up his girlfriend. The last thing he wanted was for her to be a last minute klutz and fall off his roof.
"You got it?", he said pulling her mitten covered hands.
"Y-yeah!", she said sweetly. "Thanks!"
They sat on his clean roof and stared at the stars. He was glad he ended up brushing off the snow.
She was fidgeting with her hands and Bakugo once again immediately took notice. He held her hand and gave it a small squeeze while looking into her eyes.
"W-what?", she asked slightly flustered.
"Is something wrong?"
"No! No no no! I think I'm just reflecting."
"About?"
"Well, I don't know. It's just been a long time coming I guess."
"So you don't know what you're reflecting about?", Bakugo asked slightly agitated.
"Oh, let me get my thoughts out.", she said rolling her eyes. "I just...I sometimes think about how this manifested. You know like not in a bad way, but like two weeks ago we were sort of friends and now...now we're together. Like together, together."
"Are you trying to convince me?", Bakugo said with a haughty laugh.
She only giggled and smiled at him while laying on his shoulder.
"I just can't believe all this happened because I ran into a stupid pole. I guess I should go thank it."
"Don't talk to the pole, please.", he said wrapping his arm around her. "But.."
She looked up slightly.
"You can thank the pole for me, y'kmow for forcing me to talk to you."
"Tch! You know you've loved hanging out with me since forever! At least the arcade!"
"Training was nice, I guess."
"The dinner with my fancy dress."
"Taking you back to my place after all that mess."
They both looked at each other and laughed.
"You did look pretty, though."
"So you really did like my dress! I still loved it regardless but I wanted you to know that I liked my dress.", she said triumphantly.
"I was talking about during training but yes you did look amazing that night. Had to do a double take."
"Wait, wait? Training? When I literally looked like a sweaty, heavy breathing ape?"
Bakugo snorted and held her face.
"I thought you looked bad and intimidating. Especially when you're in the air. I think it's looks awesome. I know you'd look good in anything but when you look determined"-
He had such a genuine smile on his face like a proud mom at her daughters dance.
"You look so beautiful."
She smiled with a small pout and turned around to hug him from the front. She didn't even respond immediately because she was too busy burying her head in his chest.
"Well, thanks hehe. I didn't expect that at all."
"You should've. Dummy."
She tapped him causing him only to levitate slightly.
