Uraraka walked back to the waiting room and waited to be called back. Even though she knew Bakugo was going to be okay, she couldn't help but worry. They had just confessed how they felt to each other, and she had the horrifying thought if there even would be a "together".

"What's taking so looong...", she whispered impatiently.

Suddenly, a little girl popped out of the double doors with her father. She had a beamful smile, but one of her eyes had an eye patch.

"Hey! You're Uravity!", she exclaimed with glee. "You totally saved me today!"

She didn't really know how to react so she stood up, gave a wave and an awkward smile. Some people have stopped her before while in costume and on missions, but never out of the blue like this. She felt kind of bashful, but also a sense of pride.

"You helped me and my daddy get to the big building! I got a little scratch, but the white coat man said I'd be okay!", she said pointing at her eye.

She remembered the girl crying in the debris and calling out to her father. She was so fixated on Bakugo, getting her to safety or reuniting her with her father happened blindly. Part of her felt she didn't even deserve the praise since she wasn't thinking like a hero in that moment. The other part of her just wanted to make sure the little girl kept the smile on her face after dealing with something so traumatic. Uraraka gave a smile and squatted down to the girl after shaking her fathers hand.

"You were so brave today.", she started with a soft smile. "I'm so happy to see you okay and smiling."

The small girl gave a big smile and gave her a hug around her torn jeans.

"You're the best hero I've ever seen! I wanna be just like you! So I can make my daddy happy again!", she beamed.

Uraraka's breath hitched as she looked at the father who gave a sad smile. She put two and two together and realized the mom was most likely not in the picture. She held his hands and gave a reassuring smile.

"I don't care what the big TV says.", the girl said walking away with her father. "You'll always be the bestest hero to me! Just like how my mommy was!"

The little girl waved completely oblivious to the weight of her words and jumped on her fathers back commanding a piggy back ride. The father gave genuine smile and jogged down the hallway leaving a Uraraka shaken up.

She immediately sat back down and covered her face from the little girls' words. She didn't often think about the influence she gave into peoples' lives, but this moment had hit her in the face. She felt so grateful that she was able to get that girl back in time to her father. She didn't even care that she was the one to save her. She couldn't bear the thought of realizing a father would lose another important person in his life. She assumed that was another part of being a hero. Seeing the firsthand impact you put on people when you say you'll be there for them. You never know if it'll be good or bad. She thanked God it was good.

Recovery girl opened one of the double doors to see Uraraka blubbering while wiping her face.

"What's wrong, baby?"

She looked up and tried to create coherent sentences while pointing down the empty hallway. By the look of Recovery Girl's face, she wasn't making much sense.

"I think I'll be checking you out next.", she chuckled. "You teenagers are so different nowadays. I suppose it's not all your fault..."

She wiped the rest of her tears away and blew her nose into a tissue from a nearby box.

"He's alright. Get yourself together, child.", she said with sass.

She nodded her head sniffing and giggling. She followed the short woman to a room not to far down the double doors.
