That same morning, Uraraka had woken up to the smell of breakfast. The only thing that had kept her from thinking of that semi-kiss all night, was how tired she was from the day. She completely passed out not too long after.

It was literally just a second, she thought to herself slowly walking down the stairs.

My heart was beating so fast before it happened...I'm sure he heard me. If I didn't stupidly go in for the hug, maybe he would've avoided that. How did that happen? A moment of time stopped just for us, and he accidentally kisses my cheek. Now I gotta look him in the eye. I'm sure he feels worse though. Who am I kidding...

Uraraka had just closed the door out of panic once it happened. She bet she had pissed him off. She didn't want him to think she didn't like it, because she definitely wasn't angry about it. She didn't even know why she did that. She started shaking slightly while walking around the corner due to how anxious she was.

You know maybe my house is clear, maybe I can just go home. Yeah that's not so bad. I'm sure the police handled everything last night! I am gonna leave-

Suddenly, Bakugo appeared around the corner.

"Oi round face. Why are you hiding around the corner?"

Her eyes twitched and flipped around to see him doing his regular thing.

"I made something quick.", he answered walking back to the kitchen. "Go wash your hands."

Bakugo's POV

Last night was...something.

Bakugo had walked up the stairs with Uraraka to brush their teeth. They were cracking jokes about their quirks and overall just having healthy conversation. Just when Uraraka was about to go to her door, she turned around and got a little serious. Her face looked a little flushed and some of her hair caressed her face from being of of the bun she had in earlier.

"Thank you, Bakugo. For everything honestly."

She gave a smile that made the cold-hearted boy melt. Almost like he was being controlled, he stepped to where they were 3 inches apart and looked her in her eyes. He stared at her lips which began to look even prettier to him.

"I'd only do it for you.", he said and started to lean in, looking for confirmation. She tilted her head up slightly, and looked at him with glossy eyes, but quickly went in for a hug instead. His lips brushed across her cheek in the quick process and her breath hitched but she just buried her face him his shoulder. After a couple seconds they both pulled away. She looked at him with doe eyes and a scarlet blush on her face.

"G-Goodnight!", she quickly told him and closed her door on his face.

Man, he thought. I didn't mean to do that. Why did I do that? I shouldn't have done that. She's gonna hate me now.

He had no idea how she felt and in his mind, he had just completely took advantage of the fact that she was tired. He was just as tired and probably why he tried to go for it so suddenly. He felt like a jerk and went back to his room frustrated.

Tomorrow I'll make it up to her, he thought. I already have an idea.

             ..RESUMING BACK TO PRESENT..

Bakugo had cooked some rice, miso soup and smoked salmon. Uraraka had forgotten what a chef he was. She remembered being so impressed during the week they all got attacked at the training camp by the League of Villans...again.

"Merry Christmas...wow this is amazing!"

Bakugo gave a hidden smile and shrugged his shoulders.

"I remember.", she said. "How funny it was when I told you, you were good with a knife and it was kinda weird. And then you were like-"

Uraraka had to take a pause from her uncontrollable laughter. Bakugo snorted waiting for her to finish her sentence.

"Then you said *wheeze* WHADDYA MEAN ITS WEIRD? HOW CAN YOU PEOPLE BE SO BAD AT EVERYTHING!"

She put her hands on the table and smacked it. She didn't know why it was so funny in this moment but she threw herself for a loop this time around.

Bakugo put his hands on the back of his head and shook his head with a pink face. He really was a much bigger jerk back in the day. He'd gotten a lot better with his temper *somewhat*, and due to the girls recent influence, he'd really took a step back.

"Yeah yeah, whatever roundface. Go wash your hands."

She giggled all the way to the sink then did one *accidental* pig snort. She paused then looked at Bakugo who laid his head in his hand, and she erupted in laughter all over again.

He could tell she was somewhat nervous to be around him, and her laughing started off as a defensive mechanism. At this point, however, she'd thrown herself off guard. Once she calmed down they thanked God for the food and began eating. It started off quietly, until Uraraka spoke up.

"B-Bakugo?", she began with lowness in her voice.

Bakugo flinched slightly but looked over too her and their eyes met.

"I-um. Well..about last night-"

"Save it round face, I get it."

"N-No, wait I-I didn't...mind it. I m-mean I didn't hate it, y'know and I just wanted you to...know that I know you didn't mean to and I moved super quick too and it was an a-accident."

Bakugo looked at the red faced girl with surprise. He put down his chopsticks and turned her direction. Uraraka quickly fumbled trying to eat, but was so flustered it looked like it was her first time using them.

"I thought you would've been more angry about it but cool..." he said tilting his head.

Uraraka looked at him with such bewilderment, he almost laughed. Almost.

"I-, no. I'm not mad at all. I'm sorry for my reaction. I was just... I didn't know what to do.", she sighed. "Anyways, you're the angry one! I thought you would've hated me."

"I almost kissed you. Why would I hate you?"

She turned red all over again and dropped one of her chopsticks.

"You can't just"-

"I totally can."

"Bakugo.", she sighed. "Wasn't a big deal ", she said nonchalantly eating her rice with sass.

"Gee, thanks", he said with a breathy laugh. "Now that that's out of the way, can I ask you a question?"

"Sure, what is it?", she said with uncertainty.

"Do you want to open the present I got for you now or later?"
