Uraraka's POV
"Who are you texting?", Uraraka asked Mina.
The pink girl put her phone back into her purse with a small blush on her cheeks.
"It's no one.", she answered with a smile.
Uraraka had already saw the red headed boy at the top of Mina's direct messages, but she wondered what they were texting about. She knew Mina already had a small crush on the boy after he saved her once in hero training. She hurt her ankle and couldn't move. He'd carried her all the way back to the entrance while telling her jokes and encouraging her that she was still one of the greatest heroes he'd ever known.
Unbeknownst to Uraraka however, there was another plan in mind. It was the real reason why they didn't all go into the limo together.
Mina's POV
Jiro looked and Mina and Mina winked back.
Operation Kacchaco is in motion, she thought mischievously.
Kirishima and Mina talked about the two when they left the arcade.
"I think Bakugo likes Uraraka. He's never been as chill and nice with someone that I've seen ever! And he's trying so hard to hide it I can tell.", Kirishima said.
"I know! It's so weird. I always thought she would stay with Midoriya, but I think they've both finally moved on."
"Such a weird pairing. They hardly ever talk and I always thought Bakugo would just see her as a competitor."
"I don't think the relationship is impossible.", Mina thought carefully. "They both respect each other... which isn't a lot to go off of BUT I think that respect turned into admiration."
(See what I did there)
Kirishima laughed. "No need to convince me. They'll figure it out if they actually like each other."
"No wayyyy! We have to meddle!", Mina exclaimed.
"I'm a guy. I don't mess with people's relationships. I'd rather look into my own.", he said looking straight into Mina's eyes.
She locked eyes but quickly looked away.
"Good luck with that.", Mina sputtered with a confused smile. "Just make sure Bakugo comes to the dinner tonight. Uraraka's gonna look gorgeous and he needs to know that so he can fall deeply in love!"
Kirishima laughed and nodded his head while she went on.
"So boom! Bakugo gets out the car, a dashing fellow who probably doesn't even want to be there! Then what's this?!", she dramatized. "A gorgeous girl is walking in the streets of Tokyo, his own classmate! How could he have not seen her before? He looks at her ✨dumbfounded✨, and he's frozen in place! He walks up to her and asks for her hand and marriage-
"Marriage?", Kirishima laughs. "Your play had me hooked up until that part."
"It's for my imaginary story, let it slide."
"I have a feeling your plan could work even if she was wearing a brown paper bag.", Kirishima said. "That is if he actually has feelings for her."
"Most likely, but he's one of the few people who've probably seen her at her worst and still acknowledges her as much as I do. So why not let him see her at her best as well. And if it doesn't faze him at all, she's still my best friend and we gonna look pretty together REGARDLESS."
Kirishima didn't stop smiling at her since the conversation started. He knew she was a good friend to Uraraka so he shrugged his shoulders and rubbed his neck.
