She jumped slightly at the sound and took a step back. It was completely dark and she couldn't see her hand in front of her face.

"Bakugo? What happened!"

She looked around for any trace of him but couldn't see a thing.

Suddenly a small fire lit at the corner of the room. Then another, and then another.

She looked in awe at the row of fire dots that now surrounded her in a square near the ceiling. Then suddenly a spotlight came on that only landed a few feet away from her. She saw one of the larger rocks she had destroyed with a dainty silver crown on top of it. It had two tiny hearts on in the crevices of it.

She had a surprised look on her face and slowly walked over too it.

No way..., she thought.

She removed her helmet and put the crown on her head and was careful to avoid it getting tangled in her small buns.

As soon as she put it in her head, she heard another small explosion at the front wall of the room where she was facing.

She looked up and saw more fire, but it looked like it spelled out a word this time.

WILL

Her eyes widened and she put her hand over her mouth.

No way is he?

She saw some of his blonde hair pass the now visible individual torches that spelled another word.

YOU

Another explosion went off and another until she saw two bigger explosions that went a little farther.

WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND

The words were lit like candles and they looked so beautiful in the dark.

She couldn't even cry she was so shocked. She could only stand in her spotlight and crown, admiring the beautiful words that she wanted to hear... or see.

The lights suddenly came back on and there was smoke everywhere. She tried to look through the smoke to see Bakugo, but it was so thick she couldn't see anything. There was a soft lingering scent of sugar that glossed the air but she waved it out of the way to find Bakugo.

She looked around and looked slightly foward.

"Bakugo?"

"Right here, roundface."

She turned around but still all she could see was smoke. She looked a little closer and saw the outline of a man coming closer.

Bakugo walked through his smoke and became visible to her.

He honestly looked like he hadn't been training at at because his suit was still in perfect condition and he wasn't even out of breath. He had a pink frosted royal looking cupcake with its container in his gloved hand. In the other it was a single red rose. The cupcake had a single candle and a small heart stick stuck in.

He gave a small smile and walked a little closer to her.

"I like you. I want to know how important you are to me. Even thought I said it already."

She looked at him with wide beautiful eyes that showed every emotion she was feeling. She was frozen in place but she felt like she was on a cloud.

"I know you're still mad at me, but I want us to be official.", he said. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

She walked up to him and took the cupcake and rose and put in where the crown used to be. She then gave him the biggest hug she'd ever given him, which caught him off guard, but he slowly hugged back and put his head in her shoulder.

"I would love to be your girlfriend.", she said with a small exhale.

Bakugo exhaled and gave a small breathy laughed that let out any anxieties he felt. He gave genuine smile and hugged her a little tighter. They pulled away after a couple seconds and she cleared her throat and rubbed her eyes.

"I can't believe you would do this for me. This is.."

She looked back at the wall to see the fire starting to dim out about but could still clearly see what it said.

"This is the most amazing thing anyone has ever done for me. I'm- I don't even know what to say!"

"You can say thank you."

She looked at him with tinted eyelids.

"I'm joking pink cheeks. Glad you like it. That's all I wanted anyway. Turns out that play-dough head, mechanic girl designed a couple of these rooms. It wasn't hard to figure out to set up some contraptions."

"Thank you. I love it! I can't believe it! It was..like.. so well planned! And I didn't even realize anything. I was literally going to ask you about it ...then I kinda word vomited all my feelings out."

"I noticed.", he snorted. "Whatever it took for you to be honest with me though."

She chuckled and nodded. She picked up the rose and cupcake.

"Do the honors?", she said giggling.

Bakugo rolled his eyes and sparked his hand near the candle. One of the sparks lit and the candle set ablaze.

"Now you have to sing me happy birthday.", she singed.

Bakugo sighed but gave a flat smile.

"Haaa-"

"Nah uh! Not a speaking song. I want you to sing for real!", she pleaded.

"Oh come on, you're the singer, not me."

She gave some puppy dog eyes that could control him till the day he died.

"Fine. Fine. Only cause this candle is gonna melt all over the frosting."

She did a little shimmy and waited for him to start as he shoved his hands in his pockets.

"Happy birthday.. to you..."

As he kept going, she eyes widened and she mouth hung in shock. Bakugo wasn't bad! He wasn't John Travolta but he had some base and vibrations in his voice. He sounded good and that made her heart melt.

"...to you.", he finished.

"And many friggen' more.", he said rolling his eyes and giving a little jazz hands before he put his hands back in his pocket.

She was so dumbfounded she didn't even know how to react.

"This is why-", Bakugo began with an irritation in his voice.

"NO, noo. Sorry! It's just...you sound so good I didn't even-you can sing! And you didn't even tell me?!", she stuttered out.

His face turned a light shade of pink and scoffed.

"Oh, flattery gets you nowhere.", he said sarcastically.

"No, I'm serious! You sounded so nice! Who knew after yelling for three years, you'd have such a nice voice!", she exclaimed.

Bakugo saw that the cupcake was near her face and he saw an opportunity. He smirked and quickly tipped the cupcake so it hit her mouth. It didn't smash against her face, but enough to get a good amount of frosting on her lips.

She gave a little gasp opened her mouth in shock. She looked up to see him snickering and so she tiptoed up and kissed him on the cheek.

He looked so surprised, she began laughing, too.

"Haha! Now you got some on too! Now I see why it's so funny-"

He cupped her face with his semi-warm hand and put his thumb on her chin. Her breath hitched but she didn't break eye contact with him.

"You're gonna pay for that.", he smirked and kissed her right on her frosting covered lips. He licked her bottom lip and went in for a second time.

She closed her eyes, kissed back and put her hands around his neck. She felt so happy. She was officially together with the guy she loved so much. She kissed him knowing he wouldn't back out. She kissed him without any doubt or second thoughts. It made it so much better.
