Uraraka took off her shoes and left them by the door. She definitely felt more comfortable in his house the second time even though it was all within 48 hours. It seemed so much longer.

It was almost 9pm and they had began to wash their hands. She began to set up the food while Bakugo got some extra napkins and some drinks from the fridge.

"You want soda or water?", he asked from afar.

"Water is fine.", she called back.

He walked back with two waters and they both sat down.

"Didn't think you would own soda in your house?", she asked.

Bakugo shrugged. "Everything in proportion. Once a week if I'm feeling it."

"Ah.", she said nodding.

They both blessed the food and began to eat. She used a knife and fork delicately as she cut her steak. As much as she wanted to shove her face into it like an animal, she didn't want to embarrass herself in front of Bakugo and kept up her manners.

It came with potatoes and a side of veggies. She took one bite and rolled her eyes.

"This is so good.", she said taking a bite of her potatoes.

Bakugo looked at her and smiled, grateful that she was eating. He didn't want her to try and say she was full just to be nice or whatever. Any girl that could eat as much as he could was a winner in his book. Relationship or not.

"Oi Roundface?"

She looked up from chewing her veggies and blinked at him.

"Yah?", she said innocently cutting another piece of steak.

"I don't wanna piss you off or anything, so you don't have to answer but.. I don't really see you eat often. If it's personal you don't have to answer."

She swallowed her food and nodded her head.

"No, don't worry it's not too much of a shell-shocker. I think..", she started. "I always used to skip meals to save money, y'know for my parent's sake. I never wanted to waste money and if we had it, I didn't want to scramble it on food when I knew how much I could fathom. Soo.. I kinda got into that habit, it definitely wasn't good for me. I make good money now, and my parents have been doing a little better, even before my raise, but I guess I never broke the habit. Guess that's why I won't quit that grocery job knowing I don't really need it."

She gave a small laugh and rubbed her neck.

"Kind of silly if you think about it. My parents would be so ticked off if they knew. But I really am doing better with that however! I know I can flip you over! So ha.", she finished with a smirk. "I'm as healthy as a BEAN."

Bakugo gave a closed lip laugh but couldn't help but admire the girl. He definitely didn't like that she skipped meals just to save money, but her resolve was incredible. The things she's done over the years to help her friends and family were crazy. He never knew she stooped that far just to help out her parents. He wished she could've done something different, but her heart was in the right place, so her admired her nonetheless.

"Don't stare at mee. Makes me feel awkward. I've already gotten scolded by my friends about it, so you don't have to, promise.", she said waving him away.

Bakugo had looked away, because he didn't even realize he was staring.

"I'm glad to see your family doing better.", he stated. "It's good you don't have to take those measures anymore."

Her heart skipped at the sweet statement and smiled. Sometimes, it just felt nice to be heard, and she was happy the boy went straight to her family. It's almost like he knew what to avoid to say.
