4:00 a.m.
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
Uraraka tapped her alarm on her phone carefully knowing if she broke it like her regular alarm clock, she wouldn't be getting another. Now that her flip phone days were over, she never wanted to go back.
She groaned and trudged to Bakugo's bathroom. She turned on the light and flinched.
Oh, it's just me.. Bakugo likes me for what reason again?
She brushed her teeth, than her hair, and grabbed her outfit she packed the day before grateful her instincts told her to bring it. She wore an oversized navy blue sweatshirt and some baggy jeans with a red belt with some black high top vans. She matched it with her silver watch and new necklace Bakugo had gifted her. She put on her matching jean bucket hat with red butterflies while sighing at her eyebags.
She looked in the mirror, but couldn't help but smil. She remembered the night before and began to tee-hee herself into a giggling coma. She grabbed her small backpack that carried some necessities and walked out of her room quietly. As soon as she shut her door, Bakugo's door opened and she tensed.
"Sorry!", she whispered. "I didn't mean to wake you up or anything I"-
"You ready to go?", Bakugo asked gruffly in a morning voice she was NOT expecting.
His voice gets so deep!, she thought.
"Y-Yeah. I mean, I was just gonna take the train, there's no need to drive me. It's fine!
"It's early in the morning and it's cold. Let's go.", he muttered.
"It looks kinda suspicious!", she defended.
"What's suspicious?!"
"Why would you be driving me at four in morning to school when we live about 15 minutes apart! I don't want the teachers to think I'm...around you know.."
It was quiet for two seconds than Bakugo tossed her his keys.
He looked at her and he saw her puppy dog eyes that pleaded he needed to listen. She did have a point. They went on a date, but he hadn't asked her that important question and neither had she. They just...knew they liked each other.
"Please don't kill my car...or yourself..I'm going back to bed. Drive safe.", he said heading back to his room.
She hesitated in accepting but ran to give him a quick tight hug then ran down the stairs.
"Thanks, Katsuki! You're the best!", she called from the front door.
Bakugo froze going back to his room but when he turned back around, he heard the door close downstairs.
Did she just?...
She skipped to the car and turned it on to warm it up a little before driving. After about five minutes she turned it on fully. As she put her hands on the wheel, her eyes suddenly widened.
"Did I say that out loud? No way did I just?!", the realization making her panic. "I don't think I've ever called him by his first name. I'm so slow- why'd I do that?"
She put her head on the wheel but looked at the time to realize it was almost 5.
They didn't say exactly 5am. They just said when the school opened, she thought but internally panicked at having to get scolded by Mr. Aizawa this early.
That wouldn't end well.
She reversed out of his driveway and connected her phone again so she could listen to some music to calm herself down. For some reason the sad song at toward the end of Assassination Classroom came unto shuffle, and the last thing Uraraka needed to do was start crying. She put back on her favorite song Mela!, and began to drive through the early morning.
