Turns out Mister Whatever sat next to me in ALL of my classes.

How that happened?

I don't know.

It was weird no one sat next to him. But maybe he just didn't want anyone next to him?

What a complicated guy.

I should probably ask for his name. At least he was kind of talking to me while everyone else seemed to mind their own business.

After school was over I headed straight to the hospital. Tuesday is one of my volunteering days now.

The other one is Saturday.

The rest I kept for school work and studying.

I was given five room numbers for kids with little visitors.

In the first room were three little boys already waiting for me. I spent an hour reading and talking to them, then went on to the next room where there was a little girl all alone.

"Hey, I am Lumi." I waved and smiled at her. "Do you want me to read you a story?" The girl nodded shyly. "My name is Mariella." She told me in a high pitched, yet gentle voice. I smiled at her and sat down in one of the chairs in the room. What a cutie.

I wondered why she had to be in the hospital.

"...and they lived happily ever after." As I had finished the fairytale I noticed that Mariella was sleeping with a smile on her little face.

Chuckling quietly I stood up and walked out of the room.

I visited the remaining three rooms and after two and a half hours walked back to my aunt's house.

Back at my aunt's house I started to clean my room. She was not home yet so I had the house for myself again. After cleaning I started to do my homework. It ended up being pretty easy so I was done very fast.

I sighed, feeling lonely and went through my day in thoughts.

This weird guy. I just don't understand his actions. Why did he make sure I would not get wet, then just not care and walk away in the next moment? What was it with him?

Groaning I fell into my bed.

Today had been an exhausting day so I was out in no time.

It had been a week at the new school, yet no one wanted to talk to me.

Even when I said something first they would just reply with one word and go away.

The umbrella boy hasn't been to school for the rest of the week either.

I felt awful, lonely and started to hate this town. Why did I have to come here?

Sometime around lunch Miss Miller had noticed me sitting all alone in a hallway. She had smiled at me and stretched out her hand.

From then on I was spending my lunch breaks in the secretary's office.

At least I had one person who didn't treat me like air...

Today is Saturday so I went food shopping for my aunt.

She really had a stressful job. That poor woman even had to work for two on some days...

Note to myself: Don't be a nurse. Ever.

I went to the nearest grocery shop. Hopefully they had everything we needed.

As I went through the rows a certain someone caught my eye. It was the umbrella guy!
It wouldn't hurt to say hi real quick, would it?

So I made my way over.
