Miss Miller just laughed as I told her the reason why I showed up with no lunch today.

She even began to hiccup because it was so funny to her.

My unamused impression went nowhere.

"I'm sorry Lumi but I can't believe you really traded your food for looking into his books."

I rolled my eyes. "I can't either." Sighing I laid my head onto the table.

"Now, now. Don't sulk like that. I ordered myself some Sushi today and would love to share. How does that sound?" Interested and instantly in a better mood I looked up.

"That sounds wonderful." We both grinned at each other.

Nathaniel's P.O.V. (Nate)

I felt kind off bad for taking her lunch away now.

Sighing I bit into the blueberry pancake. It tasted wonderful and just sweet enough to be enjoyable.

You know what? I don't regret it. These are delicious.

That girl really can cook. I wonder if she found friends yet?

The people in this town could be pretty cold and blunt sometimes.

But why do I even care?

...Somehow I do and that has to stop.

What was her name again?

Lu...Lucy?

No, Lumi!

She played tough but in her eyes was a lot of sadness. I wonder what caused it.

Shaking my head I took another bite.

Just forget about it. You have to concentrate on your own problems.
